We were there 21 years ago. It was really nice to see how the park has grown and is still saving gators. Our airboat captain was a wealth of knowledge and very funny! We were able to see 5 different gators and a number of different birds. He had a lot of information on the flora too. Love the covered airboats! The Gator Show was also great! Well worth the money! Our shuttle driver was a great guy, very safe and lots of information and things to talk about.
Captain Chaos loves the Everglades and you will too.

This was a great everglades tour. Captain Chaos took time to make sure you saw the alligators and all the natural beauty of the everglades. You can tell how much he loves his job and can tell you the names of all his aligator coworkers. This airboat ride was a highlight. Make sure to arrive early before it gets super busy. The weather in December was perfect. I appreciated that the gentleman in the alligator show did not force any of the animals to perform when they were not in the mood.

I had communicated that we (two of us) had arrived at the designated pickup hotel well in advance of the pickup window, and also where we were sitting so the driver could easily find us. We were doing the Everglades Holiday Park excursion on the afternoon of Thursday, Dec 11th. This was the airboat ride through the Everglades. At the Everglades and while still on the bus, the driver told us where the restrooms were and to meet him at the pavilion. He brought us our VIP stickers and told us to follow him. As we were walking towards the airboats, he told the couple he was walking with the schedule for the excursion. I could only heard a few words of what he was telling them - something about a gator show and shopping. Once we were getting in line for the airboats, I asked him to repeat what he had said. As I asked that, I moved up two steps to allow the others in the group behind me to hear. The driver said to me “so now you’re going to walk away when I speak to you? Step back, take one step back. Step back, step back. Take a step back.” We locked eyes and he made sure he was going to humiliate me in front of everyone. (And at that moment, he lost a tip from me.) What a power trippin’ ass!! I was so angry, honestly, it ruined the airboat ride and the excursion for me. Your driver cost your tour a good review. Teach your driver to do better. Teach your driver to be courteous and respectful. And please, tell this driver that humiliating a customer in front of everyone is not acceptable.

The shuttle driver was on time, a good driver and a nice guy. Very nice excursion. Our guide was very informative. He made several passes by alligators to make sure everyone on the boat had a chance to see them. Alligator show was also very interesting. Very fun day!

In my opinion it is a must-do activity if you come to Miami, given the ecological and cultural importance of the Everglades. The seaplane ride is great fun, the swamp is magical and beautiful. You can meet alligators, birds of various kinds, turtles. The boats are very noisy, better put something in your ears to protect them.

Super fun! Wear earplugs as the boat is very noisy. Our boat captain was a safe driver and worked hard to find wildlife. He was very knowledgeable about the Everglades. We really enjoyed the allegator sanctuary and show at the conclusion of the boat tour. Our shuttle driver from hotel to excursion and back was on time, a safe driver, and knowledgeable about the area.
