This private tour is based on the concept of allying your wishes with our professional suggestions and thus spending a fantastic day traveling through our beautiful Alentejo, Évora and its surroundings.
The day will begin with a visit to a familiar cork factory. Then we continue on to a beautiful wine estate, where we will visit the vineyards and see the methods of local production of these wines of excellence, which you will then taste. After this wonderful pause, we'll travel to the city of Évora, a historical city walled and of great religious influence that has been designated a World Heritage by UNESCO since 1986. Here, starts a walking tour of this beautiful old town to know its main monuments, the Church of St. Francis with the chapel of the bones, the Roman Temple (Temple of Diana), and the Cathedral of Évora, and to enjoy all the atmosphere that is lived here in the beautiful square of the Giraldo and in the street of the shops.

5.00Pedro was a wonderful driver and tour guide. We spent two days enjoying the beautiful country outside of Lisbon. Pedro has an amazing bounty of knowledge and is very patient answering questions. As it was a private tour, we could change the time for lunch, or choose which places to visit. The Roman ruins, the chapel of bones, the castle, and wine and olive oil tastings were a lot of fun. We highly recommend Pedro and will use him next time we visit!

5.00Pedro was outstanding. He was gentle and very informative during our tour. We were very comfortable with him and learning a lot during our time together. His friendlyness meant a lot. Next time we are in Portugal. We will ask for him. The wife and I felt really good with him guiding the tour.

5.00Having toured the main visitor attractions to the west of Lisbon on two previous vacations, we opted to see the countryside southeast of the city, so we chose this tour. Within a half hour, we were out of Lisbon. Gone were the hills. The views quickly morphed from city scapes to flat farms and ranches with few towns or people in sight. In less than two hours we were in Évora, a small, charming town with very narrow streets and tight, challenging ninety degree turns. One of the town's highlights was The Capella dos Ossos (the chapel of bones), where the chapel's interior walls are covered and decorated with the skulls and bones of humans. From there, we moved on to a cork products manufacturing facility, where we learned about the harvesting, sorting (into multiple grades) and the transitioning of cork into products ranging from engine gaskets to clothing and furniture.. Our guide, Jorge, then took us to Herdade Das Servas vineyards where we toured their wine production facility and cellars. The best part of the trip, however, was spending time sipping some of their excellent wines, and reflecting upon the day's events with our wonderful guide Jorge.

5.00We were recommended this company to do this tour and we are so glad that we did. Our driver Jorge was outstanding. He was friendly and informative and a great driver. The whole process of organising the tour with Fabio responding to any questions I had and he made sure that our tour was organised the way we wanted it. We had a great day and highly recommend Yellow Cab TT tours to everyone wanting a positive tour exoerience.

5.00Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. Jorge pick us up at Bairro Alto Hotel, punctual, respectful and super hospitable. The vehicle was inmaculate, water was supplied and he was very informative throughout the trip to Evora. The Cork Factory was very interesting, it is a family run company with quite interesting history and products. Wines at Sierves were very intriguing and great for dining. Carlos our host was very accomodating and showed us two more wines that were not in the list but were not added to the bill. I LOVE WINES and was very impressed by his knowledge and prime service. Trip to Evora included a short stop for traditional portuguese pork lunch, which was very tasty and spicy and we headed for Evoras tourist attractions. The bone chapel was mesmerizing. We have seen Rome's Bone Chapels but this is bigger and freakier, kids would love it. We got back to the hotel 11 hrs later, which seemed like less but well worth it. I even gave Jorge a bottle of wine as a thank you/fairwell gift. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR TRUE WINE LOVERS AND GLOBETROTTERS.

5.00Jorge our private tour guide was exceptional. He was amicable, professional, and knowledgable. The tour was longer than expected, but, due to the fact, that we tasted many wines in the tasting. Jorge took us to a very casual eating place that let us taste local good food. Evora is a nice town to visit but better off with Jorge who accompanied us along the way, and giving us all the facts to know. I highly recommend this one day tour off Lisboa with a guide like Jorge.
