You will see more then the city centre. We visit the old city but you will also see more modern architecture & developments.

5.00We were lucky enough to be visiting Amsterdam during Sail 2025 and we booked with Leemstar through our hotel. We were able to do the canal cruise and enter the harbor and see all of the magnificent vessels docked. It was an incredible experience and I can’t give enough praise to the captain who was able to navigate the busy canals and harbor with expert skill and ease. We were a small group of 6 and the boat had an indoor and outdoor area to enjoy the experience. We had drink service with Champagne, wine, water, soda. And blankets on board if the weather got chilly. Also very nice to have WC on the boat if needed. It was one of the highlights of our visit and we will absolutely do it again with Leemstar the next time we are visiting.

She was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about Amsterdam’s history while navigating the scenic waterways with skill and confidence. The route was perfectly planned, offering stunning views and a great overview of the city. What made the experience even better was Mariam’s hospitality—she kept us refreshed with beers, champagne, and wine, making the tour both relaxing and enjoyable. The tour ran smoothly and ended right on time, leaving us thoroughly impressed. If you’re looking for a memorable, informative, and fun canal tour in Amsterdam, we highly recommend this one—especially with Mariam at the helm! Five stars all around!

5.00Great choice. Very nice covered boat with a knowledgeable and engaging captain. Ability to sit outside on the back of the boat. We were the only group (4 of us) so very nice. 12 may be a touch tight but very doable.

5.00Great tour. Showed everything we needed with extra history, fun facts and answered our many questions as well. Boat was covered and warm when it was a bit rainy and had space to go outside when it cleared up.

5.00It was first activity in Amsterdam and we have been glad that it was. Our guide/captain gave informative tour starting from the history of Amsterdam which what we were looking for. Enjoyed a lot, 1,5 hours passed quickly. Strongly suggest this canal tour.
