We are a family-run business providing a high-end sailing experience on traditional Dhow sailing boats. We are proudly Tanzanian-made with a focus on sustainability.

Our trip will start in the morning from Kendwa beach, sailing along the north coast of Zanzibar, making our way over to the neighbouring island of Mnemba. Arriving shortly before lunch, you will anchor in a nice spot to hop off and snorkel while our team cooks your lunch fresh on board. If we are lucky, we get to watch dolphins on the way. After lunch we will stop on the Mnemba sandbank for some lounging and make our way back to Kendwa in the afternoon, in time for sunset accompanied by some more snacks and drinks on board.

We serve you a freshly cooked seafood bbq for lunch on board. If you have any dietary restrictions, these can be taken into account for when you inform us beforehand.

Mnemba

Our trip is a full day sail to the Mnemba sandbank with stop on the sandbank for lounging and pictures. We will also anchor at nearby reef for some great snorkeling and swimming. In addition guests will have a high chance to see dolphins in the area which is a great experience to watch them in their natural habitat. We treat these animals with the respect they deserve - no chasing! We cannot guarantee that the dolphins will be there, but have a high probability to see them at some point throughout the sail.

Zanzibar Island

We will sail along the north coast of Zanzibar allowing for a unique view from ocean side towards the island. Discover what some call the Maldives of Africa with crystal-clear waters, all shades of blue on board of a traditional Dhow Sailing boat which can only be found at the coast of East Africa.

Best team (Sultan, Wendy, Mjumbe), best vibe. The team was very attentive to our needs and preferences! Mnemba is a bit overcrowded but they managed to keep us away from the dozens of boats on the sandbank. The food was also an highlight! Recommended 100%!

We discovered Zanzibardhowcompany thanks to a friend in Italy, and we can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of our trip. From the very first contact on WhatsApp, their approach was kind, clear, and professional: they explained every detail carefully, making us feel we were in good hands. The excursion begins with a pick-up directly from your hotel. Upon arrival at the beach, the crew welcomed us with open arms, smiling and making us feel immediately comfortable. The first stop was dolphin spotting – a truly magical experience! I was lucky enough to swim with them, which was incredibly exciting and something I will never forget. After the dolphins, we headed to Mnemba Island, a real paradise in the middle of the ocean. Unlike the usual crowded tours, we were able to enjoy the place at our own pace, in peace and quiet. The lunch was delicious: the crew prepared a lovely meal of fresh fish, fruit, and beer/wine. They were so friendly that we even invited them to sit and eat with us – it was a wonderful moment of sharing. The return was the cherry on top: they turned off the engine and raised the sail. Rocked by the sea, we dozed off, and when we woke up, they had even prepared a small aperitif with snacks for us. What can we say? An unforgettable experience, highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy Zanzibar in an authentic and special way. Thank you so much to the whole team! ♥️

What an amazing day from start to finish! Was greeted by Wendy and his team who were smiling from the second we got there! Made us feel comfortable and put on some music! We were lucky enough to see Dolphins X3 times!!! Wendy and his team ensured we got the best photos with the Dolphins and that was even before we got to Mnemba! Once we got to Mnemba, he kept all of our personal belongings safe! The water was absolutely amazing and the views were breathtaking! OUR BOAT WAS 100% the best there! It was lively and we had an amazing time with Wendy and his team, dancing, swimming and snorkelling! I would 100% recommend Wendy, his team and his boat out of all! I felt safe, me and my wife had fun and had the time of our lives! Thank you for such a great day!

Amazing experience the men above the boat were fantanstic and couldnt ask for better great vuews and food - cant recommend enough
Full day visit to mnemba island, saw dolphins and we did snorkeling. Had fresh lunch on the boat. Went to a sand bank. .

An unforgettable experience and not only for swimming with the dolphins, which of course it was, but for the treatment, the food, the animation, the happiness they transmit. It's surprise after surprise. When you think they can't surprise you anymore, they do it again. I thank Sultan and his team for their great professionalism and the care we have felt throughout.
