Santa Claus Village

Every child knows that Santa Claus, or Joulupukki in Finnish, lives right here, in Lapland!!! He can be found in his office every day of the year and YOU can visit him!! Every day a huge number of letters arrive at Santa’s Main Post Office. In 1994 Santa received 200,000 letters and just four years later, 800,000 letters! Santa’s elves sort all the letters and help Santa to read every single one of them. Then at Christmas or on New Year’s Day, under their Christmas tree, excited children all over the world delight in finding the exact toy or game they have for from asked Santa Claus!!! Santa Claus Village is the most magical place all year round, for both children and adults alike!! There is something for everyone here. After posting letters at Santa's Post Office, you can buy gifts and souvenirs. In winter you can experience the excitement of a short safari in a sleigh pulled by reindeer or huskies, ride a sledge downhill and taste hot glöggi (mulled wine) in the Ice Bar. Of course, you will meet Santa Claus and share with him your dreams and wishes. There are so many things to do! Don't forget to cross the Arctic Circle! Take a photograph of this important event and remember to get your certificate to prove it!!

The entrance to the village crosses the Arctic Circle, not insignificant experiences and to be captured with a photo thanks to the web cam to always remember! The rest is just business to attract tourists.

The best experience is meeting Santa.The village is beautiful and a must do in your bucket list. The lights at santa Village is amazing and to cross over to the artic circle is a blaze.Wave at the camera so your friends can see you waving if they are online website.

It's an excellent way to visit Santa's Village if you don't have a car and have limited time. Pity about the weather!

When I went back in 2019 it did not cost money the visit, although it forces me to put 2022, which I liked the most of all the snowmobile tour, the train trip hotel from Helsinki and the dog sled

It was a great disappointment we expected a different atmosphere much more Christmas involving fairytale nothing that made us experience the atmosphere of a Santa Claus village. Too bad the whole family was disappointed If you go to Finland mainly for the village change destination
