  We went to two different market areas in different parts of the city. And use the new metro to get around. Definitely areas that I wouldn’t have found on my own, and the explanation of all the different food stalls would’ve gone right over my head without my tour guide. Selvi was wonderful. I would highly recommend..

  Selvi was a great guide for the evening exploring street food in Jakarta! I was a last minute booking but still I got all of the information I needed quickly and felt very prepared. Both spots we stopped had a lot of options and Selvi explained what was in each dish and how it was prepared. This was especially helpful for me since I am allergic to peanuts and shellfish, which Selvi helped me navigate without any issue. I am so glad I was able to try a ton of different dishes and learn about how they are prepared. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the street food of Jakarta in a single night!

  At first i thought it was a bad deal because only one meal was included but its actually a good system as you can choose what you eat. I liked the tour cause it showed me Blok M where the traditional foods are exceptional quality, it provides great insight to the local foods. I dont mind being asked to do a review but my guide Selvi asked for a 5 star review which i dont appreciate...very unprofessional.   A Fantastic tour that enabled me to experience the local street food scene as well as go to different districts of the city via the MRT that I would not have otherwise gone to. Selviana ("Selvi") was an excellent guide who shared her passion for food and provided so much information about the food and the different regions of where the food originated from within Indonesia. Selvi was such a positive and energetic person, her knowledge and attitude were a complete joy.

From the very first stop, she knew exactly where to take us—hidden gems and local favorites we never would have found on our own. Every bite came with a story, as she shared not only the flavors but also the rich history and cultural context behind each dish. Desi was funny, engaging, and made the whole tour feel like an evening out with a friend who just happens to know everything about Jakarta’s food scene.   Before tour: Anis contacted with all information needed for the tour. She was VERY fast at responding. Our flight was delayed and when I contacted her to cancel, she offered to reschedule. We couldn't make it on a different date and she offered that we just start late whenever we land. Our guide was Selviana. She waited at the hotel for over 2 hours for us. She greeted us with a big smile and positivity. Really made us feel welcomed. During the tour: Selviana was very informative and explained the differences in certain food that we have tried in a different part of indonesia. She ensured that we didn't feel rushed or miss anything despite our late start. After our flight issues, she made us smile and brought us back to life. She was the best. Thank you Anis and Selviana for truly making our time by showing kindness. After visiting 90 countries and doing so many of food tours or other tours. This was the kindest service I've experienced. Thank you again

  Fun and informative tour with Selvi! Only thing I can think of is maybe have a picture in the wechat message of where the meetup spot "main entrance" is. Also, I wish it was easier to hear her talk while walking but not sure what the solution is since it's loud outside. It also helped that all the food I tried was really good (especially the non-desserts)

  A fun way to spend a longish layover in Jakarta! My wife and I very much enjoyed our outing with Selvi. The food was tasty and our guide was excellent.
