We'll take you to an Ethno village "Hunns" which is located in a mountainous region with pristine scenery. The main customs, ceremonies, and enjoyable activities of our culture will be demonstrated to you by locals dressed in traditional dresses , in which you are welcome to participate.
The tour includes the following activities:watching a performance that showcases traditional customs; attending a professional horse-riding tricks show; learning about yurts; watching a show with archers; participating in amateur horseback riding; learning how to make local crafts; cooking basic national dishes and drinking kumis (horse milk); and tasting a delicious authentic meal. Come and enjoy the renowned hospitality of Kazakhstan in a beautiful mountain setting.

2.00We enjoyed the cultural activities, but considering the price, the experience felt lacking and ultimately wasn’t worth it. There are many other options that offer better value and are more enjoyable. The program lasted only 2–3 hours, and there were no tour guides to accompany us inside. The driver simply dropped us off and let us explore on our own, and I was also uncomfortable with him offering his personal services. Overall, I would only recommend this activity if you’ve run out of other things to do in Almaty.

3.00This was a fun experience but way overpriced. The best part was the horse show, which was cool and impressive, but the rest was a bit gimmicky. It would be much more worth it at a lower price point.

5.00As a solo female traveler this felt very safe! I was picked up by a driver in a nearby hotel and he drove me there and then back whenever I was ready and didn’t rush me. The people here were so kind and helpful, I loved the educational aspect and the immersive performances of tradition such as a daughter singing a goodbye song to her mother before she got married, traditional games, live music dances, etc! Also the lunch was amazing, many picky eater/vegetarian options! And of course the views were amazing both on the drive and at the village.

4.00We absolutely loved the village and the people there. The range of activities were great. However, the driver that took us and the office arranging could have been more pro-active. There was a lot of stress caused because we did not get a message the day before. I was chasing around. The office said the telephone number was slightly wrong but if that was the case, he could have used TripAdvisor App or my e mail. The village would now benefit from some ramps to make it more accessible but overall a great experience.

5.00Highly recommend this trip. We were given a wonderful insight into the history of the Huns and their nomadic culture. The village is about an hour from central Almaty where we were staying. This is a village specially designed for tourists -- and they didn't disappoint. We got to hear stories of their past sitting inside a yurt, tasted fermented horsemilk, saw an acrobatic horse riding show and were given a wonderful buffet lunch.

5.00The experience was truly unique and authentic. The lady-guide was knowledgeable and engaging. l felt like I was back in time, especially when she talked about traditional wedding customs. Everything was well-organized. I highly recommend it!
