Secrets Du Desert
Our desert tour begins in the early morning, departing from our cozy guest house as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the dunes. For two hours, you'll walk alongside our gentle camels, immersing yourself in the serene beauty of the Sahara. As we approach the end of Morocco's longest oasis, a stunning contrast of greenery against golden sands unfolds before your eyes. Midday brings a well-deserved rest under the shade of an acacia or palm tree, where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch while soaking in the tranquil desert ambiance.
Secrets Du Desert
After enjoying a personalized lunch in the shade of an acacia or palm tree, our 4x4 vehicle will join us, marking the end of our journey with the camels. We'll bid them farewell and begin an exciting drive toward the great dunes, stopping along the way to gather firewood for our evening camp. Nestled deep within the vast expanse of the Sahara, we'll set up our wild camp between towering dunes, a truly remote and tranquil location. Here, you'll immerse yourself in a hands-on sand bread cooking class, a cherished desert tradition, as the sun sets in a magical display over the golden dunes. Dinner will be served around a warm fire, accompanied by traditional songs shared by our Nomadic hosts. End your day by sleeping under the twinkling stars or retreating to your private tent for a peaceful rest. It’s a moment to share stories, connect with nature, and embrace the timeless spirit of the desert.
Driving back to the town

After a magical night in the heart of the desert and a delicious breakfast surrounded by the golden dunes, we will pack up our camp and begin the journey back. Driving through the vast expanse of the Sahara, we’ll return to the town where our adventure began. The tour will conclude at the starting point, leaving you with unforgettable memories of the desert’s beauty, traditions, and serenity.

5.00It was an amazing overnight trip to the desert. I had an honor to join a couple from Germany. After a long bumpy ride over the dunes, the 4x4 got stuck in the soft sand of the steep dune and Ali quickly told us what to do and within a few minutes the vehicle was out of the sand. We set up the camp just over the dune, Ali and Hamad swiftly pitched the tent, made the fire and start preparing the food. I was really impressed by those guides who worked so efficiently although they hadn’t taken any water or food (even a cigarette is refrained) during the day because of Ramadan. Nice dinner around the fire followed by some songs by Ali and Hamad, every minute warmed up our soul. It may be only a one night trip to the Sahara but with full of experiences. My sincere thanks go to the Secrets du Desert!

5.00It was a fantastic experience. Both Ali and Ahmed were very nice and attentive to everyone of our requests. The trip was a real dessert experience where we drink camel milk and met a couple of nomads. Erg Zahhar is perfect if you are looking for something quiet and authentic without the commodities of the big permanent camps of other ergs.

5.00I had an unforgettable experience on this desert tour! Everything was perfectly organized, and the local guides Ali made it so special. We explored areas far away from the typical tourist spots, which gave us a chance to see the real beauty of the desert. One of the highlights was preparing traditional sandbread—it was such a unique and fun activity! The local meals were absolutely delicious, and the whole trip was filled with traditions and laughter. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic desert adventure!
