Cusco-peru- Ollantaytambo
Our service starts in Cusco city, we will pick you up from your hotel at 06:00 am with our private transportation and our staff for this exciting adventure. Then, we will drive until reaching Ollantaytambo Inca town arriving by 07:30 am approx. Here we will stop for our breakfast, then continue our journey to Piscacucho known as well as kilometer 82 (starting trekking point) During this first portion of the hike, the road is very flat and you can appreciate the archaeological site of Ccanamarka, after 2 hours approx. we will reach the small village called Miskay, from now on the path will be ascending and with another half hour approx. we will reach our first archaeological site: Patallacta, here our expert guide will inform you about the place and then continue for another minutes until reach our lunch place.
Inca Trail
During this first portion of the hike, the road is very flat and you can appreciate the archaeological site of Ccanamarka, after 2 hours approx. we will reach the small village called Miskay, from now on the path will be ascending and with another half hour approx. we will reach our first archaeological site: Patallacta, here our expert guide will inform you about the place and then continue for another minutes until reach our lunch place. In the afternoon, our hike will take 1.5 hours at maximum to reach Wayllabamba community, our campsite. Finishing this first hiking day, it will be time to get a nice hot shower (you need a personal towels) then time meet our staff members: our chef, cooking assistant and more important, our porters. We will end this first day enjoying some hot beverages and our delicious dinner.

Inca Trail
Our day will start with a hot coca tea and a nutritious breakfast to start our hike, but first we will have to fill our bottles/camelbacks with drinkable water that our chef had already arranged along with our snacks.
Inca Trail
The first portion of the trek will be through the 2000 inca steps which will take us 3 hours approximately, during this hike we will appreciate an exuberant and dense vegetation with native threes of the zone.

On the campsite there are restrooms available and your hot shower will be ready then you will also have a well-deserved leisure time and if you still have energy, you can do some birdwatching. We will finish this challenging day accompanied with some beverages, appetizers and dinner.
Day 03: Pacaymayo – Runkuracay – Sayacmarka – Phuyupatamarca – Intipata – Wiñayhuayna

Inca Trail
We will awake with the beautiful birds singing and a hot coca tea, after we will have our delicious breakfast together with our staff. Then, we will start our uphill hike for 45 mins approx. arriving to Runkuracay archaeological site which is considered an inca checkpoint for more than 500 years! Finishing our visit, we will hike another 45 minutes and reach the highest point of this hiking day, Runkuracay Pass which is 3900 m.a.s.l. and you can appreciate the panoramic view of the mountain forest of Machupicchu national reserve. Continuing our hike descending this portion for another hour and reach Sayacmarka archaeological site, here you will have time to visit and be explained about its location and history by our guide; then you will continue through cobblestoned paths and tropical forest with humidity and abundant orchid species and wildlife, afterwards we will finally reach our lunch place: Phuypatamarca.
Inca Trail
After our delicious lunch, it will be time to visit one of the most important Inca ritual centers, Phuyupatamarka in which some years ago archaeologists had found inca mommies of children and for this it is believed that it was a sacrifice center. Finishing our tour we will descend for another inca steps for 2.5 hours approx. and finally reach Wiñayhuayna, considered our last campsite and the last archaeological center before reaching Machupicchu. Once there our staff will get ready your hot shower and towels for you then its celebration time. This evening we will celebrate with a sparkling wine bottle as you had accomplished the Inca trail, and it will be time to thank our staff members for all the effort and good service delivered, it will be our official farewell.
Day 04: Wiñayhuayna – Intipunku – Machupicchu – Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

Today our motivation is Machupicchu, so we will start very early in the morning to have the opportunity to see the sunrise and the Sun illumination in Machupicchu. The first hiking portion will be uphill and down for 1 hour approx. until reaching Intipunku and from here we will have an impressive view of Machupicchu Historical Sanctuary and Huayna Picchu mountain. Then, we will descend for another 30 mins more and finally reach the point in which you will have the opportunity to take the famous postal photo of our wonder. Finalizing the photo session, our clients will take a private guided tour including a lot of information inside Machupicchu Sanctuary for 2 hours approx. after this, all of our clients will have leisure time to enjoy more of this amazing wonder or if you had booked in advance your Huayna Picchu mountain or Machupicchu mountain tickets then you can use your free time to accomplish any of these hikes advised by our professional guide.
Aguas Calientes
Finishing your visit, our clients will take a bus included in your tour which will lead you to Aguas Calientes town in order to have lunch and some rest to board later your Expedition class train departing at 16:22 pm and returning to Ollantaytambo train station. The trip will take 1.45 mins approx. and upon your arrival our transfer will be awaiting for you in our transportation to drive you back to Cusco city and deliver you to your respective hotels. The arrival time in Cusco is 20:30 pm approx.

5.00We went as a group of five girls and as beginners, we couldn't have had a better team, the guide Elvis was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful throughout the whole four days. I personally, wouldn't have done it without him. Also, the porters, waiter (Elias) and chef (Carmelo) were absolutely amazing. If you are interested in doing the four-day inca trail, look no further. SPECIAL THANKS TO ELVIS THE BEST GUIDE!!!

5.00We went on the Inca trail and our guide was Elvis - he was the best. Along with Carmelo the Chef, Elias,Pablo and all the other porters they made our experience an unforgettable journey. Elvis is very knowledgeable and was super attentive to our needs during the hike, considering that we are amateurs - he was very patient. The food was amazing and we had vegetarian individuals as part of the group (thanks Carmelo!). The vibe along the 4 days was very positive. Definitely recommend Kenko Adventures 🙂🙂

5.00Going into this trip I was unsure if I will be able to complete the whole trail. However, with the attentive care of our super tour guide Elvis I managed to complete the trail. Elvis was super attentive and helpful when I was struggling. Thank you also to our chef Carmelo who prepared best meals I tasted in Peru. Moreover, I would like to thank Elias for always attending us and to remaining porters who made our experience possible

5.00We had the best experience with Kanko adventures! They were super professional, friendly, and helpful in every way. We ate the best food during this experience thanks to Carmelo the chef. It was the best Peruvian food we ate during our trip in Peru. Finally I would like to thank Elvis for his patience, and dedication to his job. He is very professional and knows what he is doing! He helped us in every problem and all we needed during our 4 days camping trip. We really recommend this team!

5.00With our three children (age 10, 10 and 7) we booked the classic Inca Trail with Kenko. Everything was very well organized and we were so well taken care off. The food (lunch and dinner) was a three course gourmet. I still have no idea how our cook Pedro managed this everyday. I am sure the super strong porters helped him. We rented sleep bags which were very clean and warm and comfortable. Our guide Grover was really knowledgeable, sharing his knowledge about Inca culture, Peru and nature. Next time we’ll come to Peru we will book with Kenko again.

5.00Couldn’t recommend enough! My best friend and I did the three-day Lares Trek with Kenko, and it was a truly unforgettable experience, thanks to our guide Elvis. He made it his priority to keep us safe, motivated, and informed every step of the way. The trek exceeded our expectations because of his compassion, leadership, and deep knowledge of the land and its culture. Also, the 2 other guides that accompanied us were nothing but friendly and attentive. The chef that accompanied us on the journey made us amazing food that we did not expect to be eating in a tent in the middle of the andes! The other guide, who helped with the cargo, welcomed us into his home at the end of the trek for our last lunch together. When one of us wasn’t feeling well, whether from stomach issues or altitude headaches, Elvis knew exactly how to care for us while still keeping the pace manageable. He’s clearly a well-respected figure in the small Incan communities we passed through. Everywhere we went, locals greeted him warmly, and he always prioritized offering food or coca leaves to them, which allowed us to connect with the community in a genuine and respectful way, something we couldn’t have done on our own. He speaks Quechua and helped us show appreciation in ways that felt meaningful. Elvis has over 20 years of experience, and it really shows. Even though it was just the two of us (both women) on this trek, we always felt completely safe and at ease with him. This was more than just a hike, it was a spiritual and cultural journey. Elvis embedded the history and sacred traditions of Incan culture into every part of the experience, helping us truly honor the land we walked on. He also made sure to take many great photos of us which we will be able to cherish forever! I can’t recommend this trek enough, especially with Elvis as your guide.

5.00This was certainly a challenging hike and thanks to Kenko and our team of porters and our guide - we were able to make it safely and enjoyably. We got a great experience, as we got the glamping experience, as we were able to the hike just the two of us. We were surprised by the changes to the trail after the heavy rains and we are very thankful to the team and our guide for being flexible and being able to work with us to change the hike a bit to accommodate that. We especially wanted to thank our guide, Rudy, for his guidance and knowledge of the trail and his help and patience on our hike. We also wanted to thank our cook - Jonas - for feeding us so well during our trip. I think we gained, not lost pounds, on this hike, thanks to him. The food variety and his skill was really appreciated.

5.00I travelled to Perú Last year and I was searching online for a good tour company. I fund Kenko Adventures online, they were really good respondíng all my questions about the classic Inca trail tour to Machu Picchu and I finally decided to go with Them. I am super happy use Kenko because everything was well organized from the beginning to the end. Edwin was our tour guide, He was very profesional and had so much information for our group of 4 People. The food was amazing and so delicious, the presentation of each meal was very nice and Kenko team was very friendly. I recommended kenko adventures for anyone for your future trip they are really professionals.

5.00While sitting comfortably in camping chairs, looking out at the majestic Andes, and getting to know each person of our little group of 4 hikers, my partner and I felt grateful we had chosen Kenko adventures for our Machu Picchu tour. We were very late to book our Inca trail trek but Elvis, the owner, was very prompt in answering our questions. Our guide Edwin was super respectful, knowledgeable, and really, a gem of a person! The porters were kind and efficient. They made an excellent team! Also, the cook Isaias was fantastic. He made us some delicious typical Peruvian meals, and more! The whole team was well organized. They made sure we made it to Machu Pichu (and home!) safe and happy! I would 100% go on another adventure with this young local company! I keep nothing but good memories with Cory, Hedy, Alex, Edwin and the team, and Pachamama of course ;)!
