Quseir Amra
Qusayr Amra Dating back to the early 8th century, Qusayr Amra is one of the most remarkable monuments of the Umayyad era. Originally serving as a desert retreat and hunting lodge, it quickly became known as a pleasure palace for gatherings and festivities. Inside, you’ll find a bathhouse (hammam) adorned with exceptional frescoes—rare, non-religious wall paintings that depict everyday life, rulers, and even zodiac signs. These unique artworks offer a fascinating glimpse into early Islamic culture. Today, Qusayr Amra is honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized worldwide as one of Jordan’s most valuable historical and cultural treasures.
Qasr Al-Harranah
Qasr Kharana Also known as Qasr al-Harrana or al-Kharanah, this imposing 8th-century structure is among the best-preserved desert castles in Jordan. Located about 60 km east of Amman, near the desert highway to Saudi Arabia, Qasr Kharana is a masterpiece of early Islamic architecture. Its square design, fortified walls, and corner towers give it the appearance of a stronghold, yet its true purpose remains a mystery—scholars debate whether it served as a caravanserai, meeting hall, or desert retreat. This air of intrigue and historical significance makes Qasr Kharana one of the most captivating landmarks in Jordan’s eastern desert.

5.00With our guide Jaber, we had a terrific day discovering Jordan's many features. As he led us through Jordan's rich and stunning history, he clarified the key points. He took us to the best restaurant, which served amazing local food and had a great view. We also adored our driver, who was amiable and kept our car safe while navigating Amman's chaotic traffic. Again, thank you so much for everything

5.00I would appreciate the VIP Limousine for the service they're giving for us, we have visited the desert castles and we spent an amazing time, then we hed towards Amman City to have our lunch that's called Mansaf and it was very delicious. Many thanks again

4.00Now if you look at most of the reviews on this tour it’s from people that have 1 or 2 reviews, so are they real who knows? All that said I enjoyed this tour. While these locations are the most popular Jordan tourism stops we enjoyed not having crowds around. The tour guide provided some insight about what we were visiting. Once you visit the more popular spots in Jordan, give this tour a try.
