  This was a fantastic tour---we saw sloths, tropical birds and snakes! We also made our own coffee, empanadas and picked coffee beans! Lunch was great too with authentic Costa Rican chicken and rice. Christian was very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. A must do!

  My family had an AMAZING adventure with Diego and "Juan Loco"! They made us feel like VIPs. They did not rush us at all. My boys were late meeting up with my husband and myself but they continued to emphasize "No Worries". We were given facts about the volcanos, the provinces, and the land. We were given an informative lesson and was even given a quiz! We saw sloths, snakes, toucans, and red-eyed frogs. One of the tour guides took some amazing pictures with his telescope and our phones. Our food was delicious. We had some Costa Rican punch that I had never had before and would travel just to get some more! The waterfall tour was also amazing. I had never done a private tour before. I had always done group tours. No more group tourd after this experience. We were made to feel like VIPs!!!

  Christian's tour company provided excellent service. Johnny and JC were great guides. We used Christian for Airport to hotel , to see an incredible waterfall, atvs, mud bath at the volcano and to see sloths and other animals. Do not hesitate to use Christian, you will save a lot of $$ vs what the hotels charge for non private tours!!

  A great tour to a local waterfall, and then sloth watching tour. Our driver and guide, Jerson, was great. It was a bit of a drive from where we were picked up—nearly 2 hours from the JW Marriott in Hacienda Pinilla—to the first stop, but he had a couple stops pre-planned for picking anything up at a market, and restroom breaks. The Llanos de Cortez waterfall is beautiful—you can swim in it if you like, and there are restrooms there for changing. After that, another 90 minutes to the rainforest sloth tour. There, a local guide takes you on about a one hour hike. We were fortunate to see sloths, many birds, frogs, and two types of tree vipers. After that, a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, 5 minutes from the sloth viewing. Then, for us anyway, a 3 hour ride home, but again, pre-planned stops if necessary. Also, the company called the day before to verify pick-up time and location, which was very much appreciated. Highly recommend this tour, and if we have the pleasure of returning to Costa Rica, we would definitely look to this company again.

  Christian and Alex were terrific. Very energetic and knowledgeable. Went the extra mile with taking pictures to bringing us water to wash the sand off our feet. The lunch provided was awesome facing the butterfly garden. Can’t say enough good things about the tour and this team!!!

  Alex the rabbit and Christian were very informative, friendly, accommodating and humorous! We saw all the things we went there for and more! The ride was comfortable and took our needs in consideration. The lunch was fantastic!

  We loved our tour experience! The van was very comfortable and cool. Christian and Juan Carlos went above and beyond to make sure we saw as much flora and fauna as possible. They also were very informative about Cista Rica in general. We enjoyed the waterfall, an excellent lunch with butterfly garden and finally the sloth tour. We saw multiple animals and even a young sloth up close!!! More than we expected. Would highly recommend this group!!!!

  

  

  

  

• Private Tour/Shuttle

  Used Costa Rica Adventures Travels as our round-trip private shuttle for the airport. We waited a while for the van at the airport but was nothing horrible. Was a great experience working with Christian and his team. We also did a private Rio Celeste Tour where we also did the coffee/chocolate and sloth farm tour. The tour was great minus all the rain so we did feel a little drained after all the outings and lunch. Lunch was really good. Tour and shuttle were all reasonably priced

  We did the tour (private - well worth it) with Norman yesterday (April 30) & it was by far one of the best excursions we’ve ever done! It’s no wonder Norman gets such rave reviews - he’s knowledgeable & communicated so much information not only about all the animals & sights on the tour but lots about the Costa Rican culture & history. Highly recommend this tour & especially if you get Norman!! Paul & Juliellen
