In addition, pass from the National Theater of Rhodes and riding your 3- wheel trikke of yours through the Mandraki port to the windmills, the Lighthouse and the beautiful St. Nicola’s Fortress. Admire the imposing walls of the Medieval City along the way and a breathtaking view of the Knights’ Castle. Be sure to stop and observe the Marine Gate across the Kolona port, the Temple of Aphrodite (ruins), the Knights’ Street and section of ancient city wall. In the heart of the old town, you will visit the most famous spots of the old city. Wonder around the Archeological Museum, Panaghia Bourgou (gothic church), as well as Ibrahim Pasha Mosque. The warmth and kindness of the local people who reside in the small neighborhoods of the town, will bring even more peace to your delightful ride. One of the main entrances of the medieval city, coming from the St. John’s gate you will feel like entering the Knights’ era. Crossing the narrow streets you will head to Socrates Street-one of the most famous streets of the Old City. We will be photographed at Hippocrates Square and at the small narrow streets of the magnificent Medieval City. Embrace the Medieval city from this exit point of the Navarinou Gate to the marina. We had the most fabulous time with Katerina taking us around the old city. It was absolutely amazing to see her going around town saying hi to absolutely everyone with the biggest smile you will ever see. She was kind, sweet and very knowledgeable of the history. Katerina was a Very caring and personable tour guide. She made each of us feel comfortable every step of the way. Very informative and humble. She gives clear directions and stops traffic as we crossed the roads. Ask her to stop if you want a quick pic, things that are cool to Americans are everyday things to Rhodians. She deserves a GOLD STAR! We do not go inside the castle, but you do go around the walls and turrets. I highly recommend this event for 12 to 70 years old. A bit of advice, Another couple chose an electric bike and went with our group. It was a challenge for them because several times we needed to go slow through the tourist areas, and balancing on a bike at a crawl is difficult. I'm 55 and was VERY comfortable on the trikke. Its just like standing, nothing like American scooters. WARNING **It's a 30 min HIKE from cruise ship to the store. TAKE A TAXI.

We read the reviews and were lucky enough to have Katarina as our guide. She was fun, friendly, instructive, informative, and patient with first time electric scooter users. She made sure you had a great time and the Scooter tour of the Old Town was even more pleasurable because of her. Highly recommend the tour and the Number One Guide: Katarina!!!
