Stormy Pirates Captains are long-time residents of the Virgins Islands. Not only will they safely drive you around the islands, they will give you a little history and tell you some of the famous Pirate Stories that have made these islands famous for centuries.
The 26' Hydro Sport comfortably seats 6 guests and has plenty of dry storage for your belongings. With twin 250 hp, Yamaha engines she is fast and efficient.
The additional cost of fuel depends on where you go and how fast you want to get there.
This is a US Virgin Islands-only trip.

5.00We’ve been multiple times with stormy pirates charter and they always deliver. The captain Cornelius and first mate Nick were friendly and made everything easy and fun. Nick also knew of lot of fun facts about the islands and the Baths. My parents and my children enjoyed the day. It’s our favorite activity in St Thomas.
Amazing time and unique way to experience USVI!

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Stormy Pirates. From the onset, they were very easy to communicate with via email. They were always quick to respond and provided great/helpful info in planning our day. We came from a cruise ship and took a taxi as recommended to their dock in Red Hook for a private half day boat tour with our group of 13. Robin and Tyler were great and it was a very relaxed day. They provided a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, really yummy snacks (was expecting something basic like chips, but to our delight they had fresh fruit and home baked goods!) and ensured we were safe while having fun. They had great suggestions for places to stop and snorkle and were very informative along the way. They took us to Lovango Resort & Beach Club for lunch which was a place we would never have found on our own and was SO GOOD. They also made sure we made the most of our day while also dropping us right back at the cruise ship on time. Was a highlight of our trip for sure!
Half day snorkeling trip

5.00We took a half day trip leaving from St. John. Captain Heather was excellent! She took us to a few different snorkeling spots on the south side of the island, and we were able to see fish, a turtle, and a few rays. Highly recommend!

5.00We highly recommend Stormy Pirates Boat Charter! The Captain and Heather were both knowledgeable and hospitable! We went to Virgin Gorda and explored the Baths which were amazing. We then headed to Jost van Dyke to enjoy the restaurants and bars.
Stop looking at other boats - just book with Stormy Pirates!

5.00If you are a Type A planner - stop here and book with Stormy Pirates! We booked a private 8 hour sail catamaran that had an open bar, light snacks- but most importantly the VERY BEST Captain and First Mate. If you book we cannot recommend Captain David and Kevin enough!! We have been on a few chartered boat trips before and this was absolutely the best trip we have been on. We researched what seemed like every charter company possible in St Thomas and I’m so happy with the decision we made to go with Stormy pirates. The private 8 hour trip gave us freedom to go where we pleased. We visited White Bay to enjoy drinks at the Soggy Dollar and an outstanding lunch at Coco Locos (also highly recommend) and we also had time for a quick snorkeling trip as well. We sailed on the Sail Pending 2 which was a beautiful sail catamaran. The open bar was outstanding. But we truly cannot say enough about Captain David and Kevin — they made the trip truly the best. If you are looking to relax, be taken care of, safe and informed during your trip, and share some laughs along the way - just book it. It is worth every penny and more! (PS - we did book our trip directly through their website!)

5.00Our group totally enjoyed our trip tonthe BVI with Stormy Pirates. Tyler was our Captain. He was dead set on us having a good time and packing as much in as we could! I highly recommend Stormy Pirates and be sure to ask for Tyler!

5.00Our family of 8 had an amazing time on a 6hr private sailing catamaran charter in the USVI. Brandon and Tara took great care of us! They were very knowledge and provided excellent service. We stopped at Pizza Pi and hit up some good snorkeling spots. It was one of the highlights of our trip, I’d definitely book again!

5.00Captain Cornelius and First Mate Kevin were absolutely fantastic. The service was top notch and they took great care of our family while on the boat. Their knowledge of the islands is unmatched. Kevin’s guided tour of the ocean floor was so cool and we saw so much wild life because of his keen eye.
Stormy Pirates does it again, especially Captain Dave!

5.00This was my second time on a tour with Stormy Pirates and our experience reminded us why we'll need to come back again! We had an amazing experience with Stormy Pirates on our boat tour to the BVIs! They arrived promptly and made the whole day smooth and enjoyable. Captain Dave was absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel completely at ease and took care of all of our needs. The entire tour was the highlight of our trip, and we can’t recommend Stormy Pirates enough!
