Stormy Pirates Captains are long-time residents of the Virgins Islands. Not only will they safely drive you around the islands, they will give you a little history and tell you some of the famous Pirate Stories that have made these islands famous for centuries.
The 26' Hydro Sport comfortably seats 6 guests and has plenty of dry storage for your belongings. With twin 250 hp, Yamaha engines she is fast and efficient.
The additional cost of fuel depends on where you go and how fast you want to get there.
This is a US Virgin Islands-only trip.

5.00Our private charter to Jost BVI made our trip to the Virgin Islands. Thanks so much to Tyler who made our trip exactly what we wanted. He offered options and solutions considering the weather conditions and our interests to make the best trip possible!!! We will be back to charter with Tyler again.

5.00I was with 10 other friends and my girlfriend and her mother on the “sail pending two” with Captain Brandon first mate Maeve. I found the captain Brandon to be incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, also very willing to be flexible to meet the needs of the passengers of the ship. (for example, to allow some more of our elderly and disabled friends to enter and exit the boat happily borrowed a very sturdy ramp from a nearby sailboat onthe dock, would highly encourage you to buy these for all of your ships! Made us very comfortable and happy and not stressed boarding and your boat.) First meet, Maeve was the utmost professional, meeting our needs at every return, checking in, incredibly friendly and social, made terrific drinks and serve served foods appropriately, very knowledgeable about the islands and happy to share stories of the US Virgin Islands with us as we sailed Also shared with the first meet, Maeve that I was proposing to my girlfriend, and she happily volunteered to capture the moment on my phone and was very sweet and emotional, as was the rest of our friends and family! Very special day and appreciate all that your crew did to make us comfortable and happy

5.00We thoroughly loved our day at sea… Captain Dave & first mate Kevin did an amazing job navigating us all around the islands, providing just the right amount of information, drinks and quiet snorkel time at the greatest spots! Would definately do this again and encourage all to spend the entire day with Stormy Pirates!

5.00Capt David and 1st Mate Kevin made our day cruise/sail on their catamaran. We snorkelled in multiple coves, swam with turtles, saw many islands, stopped at a wonderful resort for a fabulous lunch. Kevin could not wait on us enough, with water, drinks and snacks. He was extremely courteous and safety conscious. Capt David was an excellent skipper and often asked us if we had preferences for our route. We were never hurried or rushed with any activity. Capt David modified our route all day to avoid the rain. We were all restful for a very pleasant mix of weather. We constantly barraged 1st Mate Kevin with question about the islands we saw and his knowledge of the USVI is vast. My wife rated the day an 11 in a scale of 10. We really hope we can sail with this same crew next year. What a fun day for our family of 7.

5.00Boat charter with Stormy Pirates to USVI and BVI was phenomenal. We were in the good hands of Captain Carly who expertly managed choppy seas and challenging docking without flinching and always with a smile. Our every need was accommodated and flexibility regarding changing plans was greatly appreciated. We have been traveling for 30 years and this operator, the trip, and especially this down to earth, knowledgeable, and highly skilled Captain ranks at the very top. Georgia and Lisa February 2026

5.00Captain Tyler and Stew Robin were wonderful. My significant other and I had a great six hour private charter with them. They were knowledgeable, and friendly. It felt as though we were boating with our friends all day. Would definitely recommend.

5.00We had a great day with Cornelius and Maggie, wonderful Captain and First-mate! Our friends had just been to St. John’s and used Stormy Pirates for their sail day, and highly recommended them. They catered to our every need and made sure we had a relaxing all-day charter (cocktails, music and fresh fruit in the morning!) with great destinations in BVI. Picked us up in St John’s and headed to BVI with a double rainbow to start things off right! Hit JVD for lunch and cocktails, and Norman Island for great snorkeling at the aquarium. Without question we will not hesitate to book with Stormy Pirates again!

5.00Five friends and I chartered a boat for the day from Stormy Pirates. We had a wonderful time exploring the islands, snorkeling off the boat, stopping for lunch, and enjoying the boat ride while sipping rum punch. Maeve was an excellent captain and very informative. She was eager to accommodate everyone and was fun and entertaining. I highly recommend this trip and Maeve as a captain.

5.00The 5 of us did a 6 hour tour on a 27ft center console w Maeve as our skipper. As in the previous time, the trip was the highlight of our week. Maeve was Amaeving. She was very knowledgeable of the area and SO accommodating. We loved having her as our captain and highly recommend her and Stormy Charters. She waz fun to be with and was nice enough to laugh at our jokes.

5.00Tara. Dave, Brendan were great hosts. The experience was great and the snorkeling was very fun. I would highly recommend this if it’s your first time going to any virgin island .
