Experience on an island recognized and protected as a Nature Reserve. Sea and sun punctuate the culture and traditional activities of the inhabitants: fishermen, artisans, children and the elderly are immersed in everyday life to the rhythm of an astonishing nature.
The coral reef is easily reached by swimming. The island is world famous for its natural pools located under the Sacred Mountain.
The depths rich in poseidonia are the ideal habitat for giant sea turtles: these turtles are so accustomed to the harmless movement of the fishermen with their motorless pirogues that the human presence has become familiar. You will swim very close to them.

Nosy Sakatia is an island with a preserved, protected and classified ecosystem due to the wonders found there. An island only 20 minutes from the coast of Nosy Be and accessible only by boat. on an excursion to the four corners of the island. you will walk along the Vialli di fishermen, you will visit the cultivation of vanilla, coffee or orchids for which the island is renowned and you will try to approach a lemur in the forest. The magnificent beaches and waters that surround them are perfect sites for diving or snorkelling. After renting snorkelling equipment directly on site, you will have the opportunity to swim a few centimeters away from giant turtles accustomed to the presence of man. The natural pools with crystal clear water will allow you to admire the bright colors of the coral reef. All with an expert guide who will accompany you in this experience.

5.00I appreciated the little details such as the driver & guide arriving on time to pick me up, the tour manager providing 2 bottles of water + coke, the guide making sure that I had a good time, … It was truly a beautiful experience.

5.00We had an amazing day in Nosy Sakatia, a true tropical paradise! The island is simply enchanting, with peaceful beaches, crystal clear water and incredible marine biodiversity. We swam side by side with giant turtles, explored seabeds rich in colorful corals and admired myriad tropical fish. Special thanks go to our guide Julien, who made the experience even more memorable. He is prepared, nice and very professional: he was able to involve us with his passionate explanations and always made us feel safe, even when snorkeling.

5.00Went to nosy be for our honeymoon. Wanted to go snorkling and booked a trip to Nosy Sakatia with Gasy Guy. Julien is a thrust worthy guide. Snorkling together with turtles was amazing, but he also guided us through the village at Nosy Sakatia. 10/10 recommendations!

5.00We were picked up from the Cruise Port, 40 minute drive to a boat that took us out to a stretch of water where we snorkelled and saw many fish and giant turtles, fabulous. We were the given a tour of the guides village, where the locals were selling their goods. An overall experience not to be missed!

5.00Unforgettable experience, bathing with giant turtles and being able to touch them was a strong emotion, mask advice but also fins. I didn’t want to get out of the water anymore, warm and crystal clear, what a show... it deserves!

5.00Spent a beautiful day in Sakatia with these gentle giants of the sea and the surrounding island. Julien is a fantastic guide as he is multilingual, charismatic, knows the places very well and makes sure everyone is taken care of. All my tours with him went very smoothly and his communication is great. He and his crew made my trip to Nosy Be so memorable.
We had a week on each, Sakatia, Komba and Nosy Be. Leave Nosy Be out.

4.00July climate is perfect, 29C, sunny and no wind. Snorkeling was very good, there are lots of turtles and fish but, like just about everywhere, the coral is dead. The resort had a boat which took us Snorkeling free of charge on most days (just around the corner) but its not guaranteed. Any other tours are very expensive. There was an annoying house rule that limits each unit to one free Gig of data per day. Food was 7/10. We found eight wild lemurs in the trees while walking. No mosquitoes. Take ear plugs.

5.00The trip was really wonderful and very well organised. Although it was a group tour I was alone on the boat and could enjoy snorkelling with turtles and smaller fish. It was unforgettable experience. After snorkelling we went to the village and the guide showed me around and explained about local way of life, plants and animals. I had a wonderful time, highly recommended.
You can definitely see turtles here 🐢🤩
