Acropolis
Team up with our family licensed guide & Percy fan and walk up the sacred Acropolis Hill, where you will hear about the different myths and legends associated with the city of Athens and Acropolis. If your kids are fans of the Percy Jackson books, they may already know about the stories of Athena and Poseidon, but there are many others to hear. Once at the top, our guide will show you around the Acropolis and Parthenon, pointing out interesting features, great photo spots, and viewpoints.
Acropolis Museum
On leaving the Acropolis, our guide will lead the way to the Acropolis Museum for the second part of the tour. We know that kids and museums don’t often mix well, but this is certainly not the case with our tours inspired by Percy Jackson. Your kids can learn about ancient Greek society and culture, and listen to more myths about the Greek Gods in a fun and original way. Our family Athens mythology tour is all about taking part and having fun, something we’re sure everyone will enjoy!

5.00This was a very fun experience for our 10-year-old. The tour guide was extremely knowledgable and we learned a ton exploring the incredible sites. Communication and advance planning was also great. Highly recommend!

5.00The Percy Jackson Acropolis tour was the best way to experience the Acropolis , Parthenon and museum with our 2 teen boys. It was a great mix of history, learning about ancient Greek events and Greek mythology wrapped around a quest adventure. Was well worth getting up early for an 8am start before the crowds and heat. Eva was a very knowledgeable and engaging tour guide.

5.00We had a brilliant tour with Elena and Yohanna: super knowledgeable, and they paced the tour exactly right. My children were enthralled the whole time, there was the right mix of learning, Percy Jackson references (the game was excellent), and keeping moving. And I got a lot from it too. 5.00This was a great trip. The Family Friendly Facilitators from Kids Love Greece were terrific – engaged and entertaining for our 2 grandsons (11 and 10). They made the sites and museums magical and captured the boys’ imaginations. KLG was careful, experienced, responsive and helpful in their planning.

5.00We had 3 Tours with this company. They were all based upon the Percy Jackson Books at the Poseidon Temple, acropolis and Delphi. All were fabulous. The Tour directors were so engaging with the Boys, 11 and 14. Their additional historic, art and Culture wove a great experience through history and mythology. In addition the tour director accommodated last minute pickup changes. The expert planning of times and driving allowed us to enjoy the temples at their best of times. Recommendations for restaurants and additional sites proved fantastic!

5.00Eva was an incredible tour guide! We have kids aged 11 and 13 and there were other kids from age 5-10 in the group and she was wonderful at engaging with all of them. The quest was such a fun experience for the kids that got them very engaged in the tour. Eva also shared so much history and mythology in a way that captivated the kids. If you have Percy Jackson fans I highly recommend this tour. There was also an unexpected strike at the museum but Eva stayed with us to eat some lunch and then go to the museum later, extending her time with us by 2 hours.

5.00We did several full day tours with Greek Mythology Tours, and they arranged our transportation to and from the airport. We had an incredible time touring with GMT, but honestly, the best part of the tours was actually the people. My kids were so drawn to everyone we met who showed us around and engaged with them about where we were and the significance of mythology at the site. It's not easy to keep kids interested for a full-day, but we were, because of our great guides. There's no way we could have done these kinds of tours on our own, and I'm so glad we used a service that specializes in kids and mythology, it really made all of these stories come to life.

3.00Missed the Percy Jackson vibe… not sure if the quest in the app was meant to represent it, but even that wasn’t related to the books… we’d save a lot of money if we picked a regular tour…

5.00We had a fantastic tour guide for our family around Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and Cape Sounio. Really knowledgeable guide, and a nice vehicle for getting around. She was fantastic especially for the extra colour at the Acropolis and in the museum
