Feed Me Bananas is Back – Join Us for a Memorable Experience!
We’re excited to welcome you back to your "Feed Me Bananas" activity! This special encounter lasts just 10-15 minutes, giving you the chance to meet your adorable seven elephants at their feeding area and offer them their favorite treats, bananas or watermelon (depending on the season).
What to Expect:
- One basket of fruit per person (provided by us).
- Safe and respectful feeding your guide will give clear instructions.
- Complimentary refreshments, including traditional Thai coffee, Thai tea, and water.
Please Note:
- This activity takes place only at the feeding area (no walking tours or park exploration).
- We do not support elephant riding or bathing. Your focus is on ethical, sustainable care for your elephant family.
Location & Arrival:
- Please arrive 10-15 minutes early.

Have limited time in Phuket and want to meet elephants?? Your Feed Me Bananas activity will only take around 10–15 minutes to complete. You will meet our seven rescued elephants at the feeding areas and feed them their most favorite food in the whole world. A basket of bananas or watermelon (depending on the day/season) is provided for you — one basket per person. Please note that you will meet them only at the feeding area, not walking around the park. IF you never feed elephants before, Do not worry!! Your guides and mahouts will instruct you how to feed the elephants within a safe and respectful interactions with our elephants. At Bukit Elephant Park, we do not allow any torture to the elephants at all. We mainly put the elephants' well-being as our first priority. Therefore, we do not offer any elephant riding or elephant bathing at all. The goal is to provide a safe & long lasting home to our elephants. This activity is suitable for families with young children or elderly guests who cannot walk around the park for long. It’s a safe, short, and meaningful experience for all ages perfect for those with limited time who still want an ethical interaction with Thai elephants.

5.00I can’t recommend this elephant sanctuary enough. Every elephant here has been rescued from a life of cruelty and hard labor, and seeing them living freely and happily is something I’ll never forget. Our guide, Gift, was incredible. She struck the perfect balance between education and experience. She taught us about the dark reality of elephant tourism and how these gentle giants are often enslaved and abused, while also sharing each elephant’s unique story and personality. It was powerful, emotional, and deeply respectful. The whole visit was beautifully run and thoughtfully planned, with just the right mix of learning, activity, and interaction. There was no unnecessary waiting, and everything flowed naturally. Each elephant also has a dedicated caretaker who clearly loves and understands them, spending every day ensuring their comfort and happiness. What makes this place truly special is knowing that every visit directly supports both the care of current rescues and the rescue of more elephants in the future. The elephants live in wide, open spaces where they can roam freely, eat well, and simply be elephants. 5.00We wanted to see Thai elephants in their natural habitat and the closest easiest sanctuary/conservatory is Bukit Park in Phuket. We booked online £10 for seeing and feeding elephants and its so well organised. We travelled via taxi which we booked personally via Grab and reached Bukit 20 mins from our hotel. There is free water, cold towel, coffee/thai tea upon arrival. The experience is well planned, not rushed and the staff takes photos for your family too. Each family is given a basket of bananas (each family member) to feed the elephants. You can touch the elephants gently as well. Lasted 30 - 40 mins. There is a souvenir shop on site with lovely items.

5.00This was such a great trip. Our guide was excellent, very informative and a great communicator. The elephants are well looked after and it was nice to get so close (but ethically). All of the staff were lovely and the whole trip was amazing. We weren’t rushed around and there were plenty of photo opportunities. Good luck with continuing the great work you do.
