At Fiordland Jet we want to take tourism back to what it use to be! With a small group of 11-13 passengers per boat, our tours are all about making a personal connection with each one of our guests. This is an interactive tour - not just a thrill ride. We are the only commercial scenic operators on these waterways, which gives guests a truly unique opportunity to experience the magic of Fiordland without long lines or crowds

Begin your tour at our office to get fitted for your bike and helmet plus a spray coat and life jacket. Take a short bus ride to the boat ramp where you'll board the boat with ease thanks to convenient ramps. After a short safety brief it's time to hit the water! Travel down the Upper Waiau River with crisp air rushing by, crystal-clear waters below and stunning views all around. Pause along the way to learn about the area and it's rich history, have some laughs, spot trout, re-imagine Lord of the Rings from 3 film locations and listen to native birds as your driver quiets the engine. Enjoy plenty of photo opportunities plus high-speeds and spins - which are great fun for all! Emerge onto Lake Manapouri and embrace the silence while surrounded by towering mountains and a view that will leave you speechless. Disembark into the National Park for a short guided nature stroll among native flora and fauna. Jump back in the boat and head back up river for more FUN! Back at the boat ramp your bike will be waiting to travel the designated cycle trail 10km/7mi along the river's edge back to Te Anau's town centre. The trail is well-formed and just requires a moderate level of fitness.

5.00This was such an awesome trip! Alex was a great trip leader, she gave so many fun facts about the area throughout the trip and was a great mix of informative and entertaining. The scenery was stunning and the boat ride was so much fun!

Jet boat thrills were fantastic but also loved the small tour of the Kepler track and being in the middle of lake manapouri with the jet boat engine off and not another soul around was just magical. Did the e-bike as well and those e-bikes are next level - so easy to use and great experience riding through the trees. Loved it

5.00Loads of fun. Great way to visit the park. Very special few hours on the water. Also I did a solo bike back to town after rather boat ride. I enjoyed both parts of the tour. Highly recommend.

5.00Lindy was very helpful and accommodating. She let me leave early and bike to the jet boat location on my own as I was the only one who booked the combo that day. It was extra cold and a little rainy the day i went, but we were bundled with enough provided gear. I recommend getting a face covering just in case you ride in a boat with no windshield. John, the boat tour guide was knowledgeable and had a good humor about him. Also, you get a chance to drink the river water. I didn't get sick and it was tasty. Due to weather our tour ended a little early, but yhey gave us a partial refund and drink tickets to nearby sports bar.
