Please note that access to the Terraces requires climbing 150 steps (no lift) through narrow passages. The height of the Terraces is 30 meters (98 feet).
Sandals, shoes with heels and flip-flops, slippers, and clogs, as well as shorts or skirts above the knees are not allowed inside the Cathedral. Please bring a scarf to cover up before entering.
Children under the age of 7 are not allowed on the Duomo Terraces for safety reasons. Youth ages 7-18 must be accompanied by an adult to climb the Terraces.
The Baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault's mosaics.
Please note that backpacks of any size, as well as luggage or large bags, are not allowed.
Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
It is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, those with heart conditions, dizziness, or claustrophobia, as well as individuals with mobility impairments or wheelchair users.

5.00This tour includes the terrace but not the cupola acccess but it does include the bell tower. Roberta was a wonderful guide.

3.00The guide was excellent. I enjoyed the museum very much. I had opened back shoes on and I was not able to access the terrace. I was not told beforehand that I needed to have closed shoes so I paid for the terrace and was not able to do that part of the tour

5.00This was amazing. They are serious about no backpack. My purse had a backpack style and I was not allowed to take it, even detaching one of the straps to make it only have one. The view from the duomo is amazing but if you have any nerves about heights dont risk it, for the price. The pathway literally walks along the edge of the roof
