Learn to make fresh pasta, like our grandmothers made them in Italy.
We will teach you every process and stand by you teaching you every step.
We will prepare 3 types of fresh pasta such as Ravioli, Tortellini and Tagliatelle, and at the same time we will also prepare sauces to match such as butter and sage, pomarola and old-fashioned Tuscan ragù.
You will not have to bring anything with you because all the equipment will be offered by us. In the end we will eat everything we have prepared.
During the experience we can drink good Tuscan wine or unlimited
Our cooking school is located inside a medieval tower from the 1200s, a stone's throw from Brunelleschi's Dome. Where you will breathe the air and life of Dante Alighieri, father of the Italian language because the tower where we will cook belonged to his wife's family.

Our COOKING SCHOOL is located inside a MEDIEVAL TOWER from the 1200s, a stone's throw from Brunelleschi's Dome. Where you will breathe the air and life of Dante Alighieri, father of the Italian language because the tower where we will cook belonged to his wife's family. Our team is made up of true chefs, with many years of experience in the best Italian cuisines. From FLOUR to RAGÙ, together we will make real Italian pasta from scratch as they did it in the times of the Medici family, the lords of the Renaissance. We will select the best seasonal vegetables and the best products that the Italian territory offers. WE WILL PREPARE 3 TYPES OF FRESH PASTA such as RAVIOLI, TORTELLI and PAPPARDELLE, and at the same time the Chef will also prepare sauces to match such as butter and sage, arrabbiata and old-fashioned Tuscan ragù. Yes we had fun and the wine helped. The charismatic instructor kept things fun and moving, and prepared all of the tasty sauces, leading to a good dinner. There were some issues (mostly outside of their control): * The classroom was packed with 20+ people. I think it was 22 or so. The tables were crowded, leading to bumping into a neighbor while cooking. * The instructor was fun but hard to follow. He often demonstrated at just one of three large tables, facing away from half the class. My table of 8 (one of three large tables) was often confused and had to guess/help each other out. * The space was very noisy, sharing space the service counter of an active restaurant, with staff often dinging the bell for service. * Wine was served in flimsy plastic cups (viator listing shows wine glasses). * Viator cover photo has a pasta machine. Ours was all hand-rolled. with a communal pot of pasta. Much of the pasta was too thick and when cooked all together, you got some very chewy / not fully cooked bites.

This was a large cooking class, with multiple rooms and big tables. We made three different kinds of pasta - tortellini, ravioli and pappardelle.

This class was very fun, lots of laughs and we learned a lot! We did a good job!! I think it’s a must to try while in Florence. I just need to get the recipes for the sauces and the flour we need to get!!!

This was such a fun experience! We had never done a cooking class before. Our local chef, Victoria, was a great teacher and gave us so much information and tips for preparing authentic Florentine cuisine. It was delicious and you will leave happy and full!

What a fun evening experience with the family. Chef walked through how to make pasta and three very delicious sauces to complement our self made tortellini, ravioli, and pappardelle. Then we got to taste! Highly recommend it!!
