Enjoy a quintessential lowcountry cruise through the salt marshes of one of Charleston’s most scenic rivers where we see multiple dolphin sightings on 99% of our tours! The waters here are calm and less crowded with land always in sight making this private tour more relaxing, intimate, and enjoyable!

You will be onboard a 27’ Coast Guard Certified vessel. “Marsh Mama” is designed with an open concept. She has comfortable cushioned seats, and Bluetooth stereo for your enjoyment. Spacious coolers with ice and waters will be provided. You are welcome to bring whatever food and drink you’d like! (BYOB)

Your captain will be experienced, knowledgeable, and fun. He will keep you safe, teach you interesting facts, and take great care of you. Your captain has a Masters License.

The tour is great for guests of all ages! It is perfect for families, friends, and celebrations! You can even bring your pet!

Morris Island Lighthouse

We will depart from the dock and enjoy a leisurely 30 minute cruise through the salt marshes of one of Charleston’s most scenic rivers. You will see a wide array of local wildlife including the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin and numerous species of beautiful estuary birds. Upon arrival to Morris Island, an uninhabited barrier island, you will have a breathtaking view of the famous Morris Island Lighthouse. If the tide isn’t too high, you will have the opportunity to take a stroll on the beach to search for sea shells and sharks teeth, take photos, and soak up the natural beauty of this unique setting. After exploring Morris Island, we will make our way back to the dock via Lighthouse House Inlet and The Folly River.

I am a local and have taken more than 10 boat tours over the years when we have out of town guests. This tour was far superior. Jodi went out of his way to genuinely connect with every person on the trip and to match his information to people’s interests. Five stars plus more!

If you want to experience the Charleston waterways like the locals, this is the cruise for you. It was more than we hoped for with calm waters, incredible sunsets, picturesque views, and we were surrounded by dolphins at every turn. Jody was the perfect tour guide - engaging, relaxed, knowledgeable, personable - he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and got the most out of the experience. It’s easy to find, parking was convenient, the boat was clean and comfortable, and the experience was worth every penny. We’d do it again for sure and highly recommend it.

Captain D was personable, comfortable & knew his nature! We did see dolphins and we pulled up to the lighthouse Island and got to walk around. He had blankets as it got a little chilly and he also talked about fishing. It was a great experience and we loved catering the boat just for the five of us.

Nick was a fantastic guide - enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly. We saw lots of dolphins and a stunning sunset. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this tour.

Captain Jody was the BEST! It was me, my wife, and our American Fox Hound on a private tour. It was SOOOO awesome that we could bring our dog with us! Jody made it a really laid back and easy going experience for us and our dog. We saw dolphins, had a chance to walk along the beach front on an island we went to, and learned about the animals in the Folly River. It was an incredibly easy tour to navigate and do. Jody took care of everything, and we just sat back, relaxed, and enjoyed the sights! HIGHLY recommend this for anyone visiting the Charleston area!

Beautiful sunset tour. Our captain was charming and personable, and his knowledge was impressive. We saw the lighthouse, multiple dolphins, and the most beautiful sunset I can remember. Nick is a gem, let my kid drive the boat.
