Visit Mount Rainier National Park on this full-day tour. See waterfalls, old-growth forests, flowering meadows, and wildlife in their natural habitat. This experience on Mount Rainier makes your expected stops — but also ventures off the beaten path, with fantastic views and vistas, waterfalls, and park grounds. Walk or don't walk, you get the option. This tour travels all the way around Mount Rainier, and the different landscapes are fantastic. Four stops for trail walks and/or waterfalls are included. May, June and late Oct, may have snow at Paradise, roads will be clear, but may need to return same route, and we've added extra walks if this happens.

5.00We were planning a trip to the Seattle area and wanted to visit the parks around the city. I contacted Cheryl and asked about Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens and Olympic National Park. She put together a set of dates and picked us up in front of our building for each trip. Cheryl knows the area very well and we went to several quiet scenic locations. She worked with our ability to hike well and made sure we could enjoy the trip. She had a great understanding of the history and geology of the area and shared insights as we drove and hiked. Very nice vehicle, great driver and knowledgeable guide, Cheryl will be our choice for all future visits to the area! She made the long trip to and from the mountain enjoyable and informative.

5.00We had a great time in our private day trip to Mt. Rainier. The SUV had plenty of room with waters along with some snacks and Cheryl took good care of us. She knew all the right spots for photos and trail walks and had great knowlege about plants/trees, the history and geological formation of the mountain ranges. Highly recommend!

5.00Cheryl took such great care of us. Her car was clean and comfortable and filled with snacks, along with a really nice water bottle. She took us to all the beautiful spots and knew just the right places to park to make things easy. She went at our pace and let us dictate how the day went, and we got home safely. Would 100% recommend!

5.00Fantastic day! Cheryl was superb and very knowledgeable about Mt Rainier and Seattle. Very comfortable car. We stopped for lunch at a beautiful old hotel. Over 100 years old. Then made our way back down for more studying vistas and a couple of walks. Altogether a very enjoyable day.

5.00This was a terrific tour! Cheryl is extremely knowledgeable about Seattle and Mt. Rainier. The SUV was clean and comfortable. Cheryl adjusted her normal route to make sure that we got to the top of the mountain (the drive-able portion) before it was obscured by clouds. She knew all the great photo spots, and made extra stops when I wanted to catch pics of something else. She happily took photos of my husband and me, and she gave us several lunch options. She was also quite patient with my limited mobility. We would gladly book with Cheryl’s Northwest Tours again. Thanks for the perfect day, Cheryl!

5.00Wonderful tour!! Cheryl was super!! Really listened to what we wanted and gave us all of it and more!!!! She had a water bottle for both of us (that we got to keep) and perfect snacks!! Cheryl has incredible knowledge of the area! We learned so much!! She also knows the best parking spots!!! My husband and I would have walked a mile before hiking and she just pulled up in crowded areas and found perfect spots!!! Thank you!!! If we are ever back in the area, we will do another one of your many options!!

5.00Cheryl was a fantastic tour guide! She was kind, courteous and knowledgable of all things Seattle and the Mt. Rainier National Park. My wife and I were travelling with our two children (6 and 9yrs old) and we all had such a wonderful day with Cheryl. She showed us all of the sites and sounds of the beautiful National Park. We highly recommend her and we will absolutely be contacting her again when we revisit Seattle. Thanks again for all of the memories!
