After having learned about the history and cultural significance of cheese fondue in Switzerland (we bet you never heard of the Swiss cheese mafia and their cheese conspiracy) you will learn about the different types of Swiss cheese, taste them paired with nice wines and then use them to make your own cheese fondue from scratch.
Our unique fondue games will make create a fun & competitive bonding spirit.

Dress up like a Swiss cheese chef then learn to make your own traditional Swiss cheese fondue from scratch using local Alpine cheeses while learning about the history and cultural significance of this Swiss national dish. Next to making your own fondue, you will play fondue garden games, sample cheese paired with local wines, and learn a lot of fun facts about cheese, fondue and Switzerland.

5.00Our instructor, Mitzi (not sure of spelling) was fantastic. We were her first class she taught alone and she did a great job. She was lively, fun and very knowledgable about wine and cheese. The entire 3 hours was so full of laughs and the food was delicious. We had so much fun with the entire class that we stayed for awhile after the class to take pictures in the gardens and Mitzi brought each of us a glass of wine while we were hanging out. I highly recommend this class

2.00We had a confirmation from Viator but the provider was not prepared to offer the cooking class that day. The provider, who was traveling, kindly offered a fondue dinner at their restaurant or the class on another day, but our plans and itinerary required us to take a refund.

5.00This cheese activity was excellent and delicious. Lucina was so nice and so knowledgeable. I love the way that she introduced the five different wines and five different cheeses. This was all before we made our own pizza and then shared cheese Fondue. A delightful afternoon. I highly recommend this activity.
