Fantastic tour, exceeded our expectations! Our guide Ninelth was excellent. Her knowledge of the food we were eating and the culinary history of Mexico was extensive. The restaurants we visited were all excellent, one of which has earned a Michelin mention! The wine tasting that we had was great, very informative and it was nice to try some Mexican wines, which were excellent. The tour was an easy walk, not long between stops. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you're a "foodie".

I enjoyed this tour very much! We had a nice stroll around Polanco visiting different kinds of restaurants and learning from mexican gastromomy. Each tasting was unique and fun. An amusing experience, highly recommended. Great plan to go with friends or family visiting Mexico City.

What a Wonderful Experience! After spending almost 20 years abroad, returning to my hometown has sparked a newfound appreciation for tours in the city. It seems like a part of me is eager to embrace everything and understand how the city has evolved during my absence. I've particularly developed an interest for gastronomy tours, as they offer a unique perspective on how cultures evolve through their cuisine. As a Mexican who has lived abroad, I can attest to the fact that food is the first thing you miss, and it's something irreplaceable. Let me tell you, the Haute Gastronomy Tour in Polanco has been by far the best food tour I've ever experienced! Our first stop was the Anthropology Museum, an absolute must-visit whether you're a local or a first-time visitor to CDMX. Our bilingual guide explained the meaning of food in Mexican culture, setting the stage for an enlightening culinary journey. We then visited a selection of restaurants where we sampled traditional dishes with unique twists crafted by talented chefs. These culinary artists, with expertise gained from local and international experiences, seamlessly blended tradition with innovation. Each restaurant had its own distinctive vision and signature dishes, yet they all shared a commitment to modern Mexican cuisine rooted in ancestral techniques and organic ingredients, while also promoting sustainability and respecting Mexico's traditions and environment. Culinary Delight - A Five Star Experience From start to finish, the gastronomic tour was a delight. The attention to detail at each stop was remarkable. We tasted everything from street food to gourmet dishes, each presented and explained by the chefs themselves. The guide was engaging and made sure everyone felt included and informed. You get to know not only mexican food and wine, but also all the culture. We discovered great places and everything we tasted was delicious, we even got to make our own Tlacoyos and salsas! A perfect plan to spend a special day out. Super complete and well thought tour, we had a wonderful time!

Amazing experience!! I am a strong fan of doing gastronomy tours in all the cities and countries I visit because I strongly believe that this is a unique way of getting to know the culture, the people and the country history a bit better. Well, I was not disappointed with this Haute Gastronomy Tour in Polanco, I can say this is the best gastronomy tour I’ve ever done without hesitation! Why? Well, first because we started at the Anthropology Museum which is such an enriching experience, our guide was completely bilingual in Spanish and English! She explained the origin of the importance of food in the Mexican culture, this is a super original and great way to start a tour. Then, we went to several restaurants where we could try some of the best dishes of Mexico, we even tried a tostada with the Mexican caviar which tastes amazing and we could even bake our own “Tlacoyo”! All the restaurants had their unique vision and distinctive dishes but with the common ground of offering modern Mexican food using ancestral methods and organic products, converting them in sustainable restaurants respecting Mexico’s tradition and environment. We even went to one of Mexico’s masterchefs and most respected chefs in the country and tried an amazing “tamal de esquites”, sooo delicious. Finally, the tour was well designed with a "pause” for a great Mexican wine tasting and ended up on a sweet tooth with some amazing chocolates in one of Mexico’s most acclaimed chocolate brands in Polanco. Truly unforgettable experience, 1000% highly recommended if you want to have amazing food & drinks together with enriching knowledge about Mexico and it’s fascinating history and culture. A tip: come in a hungry mode!
