Discover a new angle of Cascata do Caracol through the paths taken by the first resident of the region. You will discover the region where tourism began in Canela and Gramado, visiting Vale da Lageana, in Caracol, in search of Pé da Cascata. In a mix of echo, adventure and history, you will be taken along the same path that the first resident of Caracol did when he lived in those areas and discovered the waterfall that, for many, was nothing but a legend.
Part of this adventure is riding in an offroad vehicle, hearing the story of Guilherme Wasem and his family, doing an unexplored trail, taking memorable photos at the foot of the waterfall and even having a picnic remembering the origins of the German settlers.
New paths await you to be explored. Welcome to Pé da Cascata!

You will know the area where tourism in Canela and Gramado began, in search of the foot of the Caracol Falls. In a mix of echo, adventure and history, the tour follows the way of the first inhabitant of the Caracol until the discovery of the waterfall. The experience includes a theme vehicle, a little explored trail, photos at the Foot of the Cascade and the famous Infinito Balance in front of the waterfall. To complete, a special stop at Casa da Vó Ivonne, a welcoming atmosphere that preserves memories and stories of the first residents. Prepare your mobile phone to record the most exclusive tour of the Serra Gaúcha. IMPORTANT : Mandatory use of closed footwear suitable for trails. Avoid social or thin solado shoes. Passengers without appropriate footwear will not carry out the activity. Departure point : Casa da Vó Ivonne – Estrada da Lageana, 285 (Rural) – Bairro Caracol. Arrive 20 minutes in advance. (Transport to the point not included.)

5.00The place is very beautiful and interesting. We made the tour with the pair of guides Renan and Carlos. Very polite and concerned about the safety of visitors. I recommend closed shoes and insect repellent use. The trail is very smooth and identified.

5.00The walk is very delicious. Contact with nature is wonderful! The view from the Cascade is beautiful! The trail is smooth. We were my 74-year-old mom and me, and the trail was quiet. I want to talk about the Samurai guide. A polite, kind guide with knowledge of the area.
