After its birth in the 1840s, and especially between 1866 and 1890, drovers ran millions of cattle through Fort Worth on to the Red River, winding their way north to the rail heads in Abilene, Kansas via the Chisholm Trail.You will feel like you go back in time and wetness Daily Longhorn Cattle Drives. Fort Worth Water Gardens
The urban park is frequently billed as a "cooling oasis in the concrete jungle" of downtown. Its focal points are three pools of water and a terraced knoll, which helps to shield the park from the rest of the City. The quiet, blue meditation pool is encircled with cypress trees and towering walls that are covered in thin plane of water that cascades almost 90 degrees down to the sunken blue water feature. The sound of the water on the walls evokes thoughts of a gentle rain shower. The aerating pool features multiple illuminated spray fountains under a canopy of large oak trees. The main attraction of the Water Gardens is the active pool, which has water cascading 38 feet (11 m) down terraces and steps into a small pool at the bottom. The active pool experience was built for people to be able to walk down the terraced steps to be surrounded by and experience the power, sounds and motion of water crashing around them.

3.00Drives in a circle a few times around forth worth past every building, church ,museum assisted living everything but the JFK memorial which I wanted to see !So much time looking at buildings Less than 2 hours in stockyards for the cattle drive and atmosphere and cute little shops I got agita trying to rush down a drink and a bite and I tried to run into one little shop near pickup point and as i was heading to van at 12:45 meeting time I got a txt saying they would be leaving me there !! then 2 phone calls I boarded bus at 12:47 and was chastised ! I’m am never late for any of my excursions but this time was so ridiculous rushed 2 min wasn’t a reason to be called 2x and txted
