Mtskheta (Old Capital) was the ancient capital of Kartli, the East Georgian Kingdom from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. and was also the location where Christianity was proclaimed as the official religion of Georgia in 337. The property consists of the Jvari Monastery and the Svetitstkhoveli Cathedral.
Jvari - Monastery is a sixth-century Georgian Orthodox monastery.it is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Jvari Monastery stands on the rocky mountain top at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta.
Uplistsikhe (literally “Lord’s Fortress“) is an abandoned rock-hewn town, which once has played an important role in Georgian history. The place was founded in the Late Bronze Age, around 1000 BC, and continued to be inhabited until 13th century AD.
The Joseph Stalin Museum is a museum in Gori, Georgia dedicated to the life of Joseph Stalin, the leader of the Soviet Union, who was born in Gori.

• Jvari monastery. (Beautiful view of merging on 2 different rivers from the top of the mountain) Please note that for the payment for additional Options you have to have cash. The Tour Price includes Transportation, Guiding, Planning, Car service/Petrol costs, Tickets for Uplistsikhe caves and a bottle of Fresh Georgian water. As a Transportation method: we will use clean, safe and comfortable cars. (Our cars run only on petrol, we do not use installed natural gas for more safety)

5.00I was on a one day trip with my 2 kids with Levan, it was very comfortable pleasant and homely. The car the ride and the experience was spectacular. Levan knows the history and explains everything very well. Excellent guide, highly recommend.- Neelam, Qatar.

5.00We took a private tour with Levan for a day and a half in June while visiting Tbilisi. We really enjoyed our trip. Levan is an awesome guide, he is very hospitable, loves what he does, safe driver. I would definitely take a tour with Levan again! Cheers Tbilisi ❤️

5.00Levan is actually one of the most pleasant and experienced guides we've ever met. It was a big-big pleasure to spend this wonderful day together. He knows all ins and outs of the region and happily shares his expertise. Levan is also an experienced driver needed for Georgian roads. Strongly recommend!

4.00Booked a Tour with Levan for the Old Town. The Driver Levan was prompt on time and very friendly. I was travelling with my Family of 2 children ans spouse and the Mini Van was clean comfortable and spacious. The guided commentary by Levan was top class and it is very evident that he takes his job very seriously and goes out of the way to make the guests comfortable. I would recommend Levan Tours highly

5.00My family and I recently booked a tour with Levan. From the beginning to end of our day, our guide, Giorgi, was excellent. In addition to careful and safe driving, Giorgi provided us with historical and current information about Georgia that added to our experience. We saw the planned sights on our excursion and also had a glimpse into life in some of the smaller villages that we passed through. Would highly recommend!
Truly 5 star experience, caves are the Top.

5.00Its our first time traveling in Georgia (WFTGA) We have booked tour with several travel agencies, Levan tours was one of the best, we have booked 2 tours , one it caves and in old capital, another to Mountains Kazbegi, Caves were top so far, we have been traveling for 12 years, but those tours were one of the top, this is our first review ever. Kakha was really knowledgable guide and truly gentleman. Thank you for great experience we will definitely return. P.S. and thank you for the souvenirs :)

5.00Kakha was a very nice guide. He was always on time, very attentive and personal. He was always ready to help and go extra step for us. You can see that he loves his country and very proud of it. Kakha showed us more than just what is in the tourist information books,we saw amazing view from top of the mountain, went deep inside caves and discovered many interesting things, so we really had some local experience. Thank you Kakha!
Would highly recommend Levan and the tour!

5.00We are a family of four (two adults and two children - ages 6 and 9) and we did the Mtskheta - Jvari monastery - Gori - Uplistsikhe tour with Levan. It exceeded our expectations and we would recommend him (and his company) for other tours and, next time we are in Georgia would be happy to do other tours. Levan was prompt and his car (a minivan) was clean and reliable. We appreciated that he was patient and friendly with the children (mentioning bathroom breaks, etc.). We also appreciated that he asked about playing music (during a few of the longer drive stretches) and that he picked stuff that was popular with the whole family. Our first stop was the gorgeous Jvari monastery which we really enjoyed. This was followed by a short stop in Gori (Stalin's birthplace) - it's optional to see the museum or not (we didn't as we weren't interested) but we did enjoy the walk around the park to see the house where he lived with his mother as a child (Gori was also where we stopped for a delicious, local lunch). There was a lovely drive to Uplistsikhe (a cave town would be the best way to describe it) and we loved the climbing around (this was a great hit with the children) with this knowledgeable and pleasant guide! The final stop was the sublime Mtskheta (the first capital of Georgia with the magnificent Svetitskhoveli Church. It was great hearing both about the places we were visiting but also having Levan answer any questions we had about the fascinating and unique Georgian culture. We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant in Gori - the decor was a bit rustic but it was clean and the food was delicious! We had booked another tour that week already or we would have booked another tour immediately! We would recommend this tour to others and will use Levan again next time we are in Georgia.
