Join us on 3 hours of calm and relaxed visiting of the island, mixing culture and beautiful views, we will make the most of this time together, driving by Monte Brasil, the only peninsula of the island, Goat Islet, an underwater volcano, São Sebastião, the first place we populated upon arriving at the island and Serra do Cume, one of the remaining ridges of the biggest caldeira of Azores! The visit to Algar do Carvão is optional and depends on the hour of the tour.

Monte Brasil

We will visit Monte Brasil, passing by the volcano's crater, reaching the viewpoint to Angra Do Heroísmo city, from where we can witness the history flowing through the city!

Definitely recommend! Rui (our guide) was great. Knowledgeable about the all the sites we explored and also so interesting to learn about traditions and culture of the island from him. We were only on Terceira for a short time during a layover so this worked well for us to be able to explore as much as we could in a short timespan. We hope to visit again.

We had a great tour. The guide was very friendly and knew a lot about local history and traditions. We visited many great nature spots and even a local wine producer. Amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Beautiful island. Loved the cows. Cows everywhere! Stepping back into a much quieter but lovely place. Bus driver took us thru some very tight roads.

Catarina was the best! I started my trip with flight delays. I was able to switch my pick up to the airport on short notice, and the company was great about it. Catarina met me at the airport and gave me a tour of the island. I felt like I was able to see so much during our tour (from scenic overlooks to cheese tasting to Algar do Carvão). Catarina was so nice, really loved the island, and was able to teach and show me so much. It was a great way to start the trip. I highly recommend!

Nuno was a very pleasant guide for our excursion to the island of Terceira. We saw beautiful views, but what was breathtaking were the “beaches” formed by lava from the nearby volcano with a lunar landscape and many small natural pools. Nuno was very good, competent and accompanied us on this excursion with all his sympathy

We had a most enjoyable & relaxing Guided Tour with Ricardo. He met us at our Cruise ship and drove us throughout the area, stopping at many gorgeous sights, and sharing with us the History and Culture of this beautiful island, including some personal history. Our small 3 person group included a former Terceira Resident of 60+ years ago, and the conversations with Ricardo were the best - we all learned something! We went to a small café where we had delicious local pastries & coffees! This is a great Tour that should not be missed by anyone visiting Terceira, and request Roberto as your guide!
