4.00Such a beautiful train ride! Highly recommend. Our guide made all the train arrangements and stops very easy. Not much to see in Interlaken but we learned some interesting history in Lucerne. Just know that the focus is on the train ride, not the stops.

3.00The guide was great and very knowledgeable — we really did like her. However, the quality of the train tickets and the overall time constraints felt disappointing and poorly structured from the beginning. The amount of time we had in both Lucerne and Interlaken was extremely limited. The tour breakdown provided beforehand made it seem like we would have approximately a two-hour guided tour along with an hour and a half of free time. In reality, we ended up with roughly a half hour of free time in Lucerne following our tour, and we barely had any opportunity to truly see Interlaken. Once we arrived onsite to Interlaken we were told to return in again about a half hour total. That timeframe included the “tour,” which ultimately did not occur because there simply was not enough time. Additionally, the tour was advertised as a premium panoramic train experience, yet we were placed in economy seating without assigned seats on any of the trains. This made the experience unnecessarily stressful, and on the final train I was unable to sit with my family, which was not ideal. Would take the train again just for the wonderful views but direct or through another company. Breakdown we were provided attached for reference.

5.00We had a wonderful day! Our guide, Julianna, was knowledgeable and a lovely person to hang out with for the day. Lucerne was an interesting place to visit, with so much history and beauty. The panoramic train ride through the mountains and lakes was breathtaking.

5.00Juliana is a great guide and we enjoyed the tour. Lucerne is a charming town with a lot of history. Interlaken, on the other hand, is essentially a tourist town with a lot of hotels.

4.00Tram & train easy thanks to Pietra our guide. Somewhat disappointed in Interlacken as would like to have more time to extend to mountain activities. Lucerne time & areas visited was sufficient.
