From Fátima, we embark on a scenic 40-minute drive to Nazaré, a picturesque coastal town famous for its colossal waves and traditional fishing culture. Marvel at the stunning views of the Atlantic from the Sítio cliffs, stroll through the charming streets, and immerse yourself in the local maritime heritage. If you’re lucky, witness daring surfers ride some of the largest waves on the planet. Nazaré will also be our lunch stop, where we will recommend some of the best restaurants in the area, known for their fresh seafood and traditional Portuguese cuisine. You can savor a delicious grilled fish or a rich “Caldeirada” (Portuguese fish stew), but for those who prefer meat, there are also excellent options such as “Bife à Portuguesa” (Portuguese-style steak) or roasted lamb.
