  Piran well worth a visit, it's a very pretty place. Guide very friendly and informative. We went mid April, which meant it was warm enough for shirt sleeves but the town was very quiet. I would recommend the Piran olive oil cake!

  Had such a great time! Communication with the tour group regarding changes was prompt- lots of detail throughout the afternoon! Loved it! Would highly recommend!

  Loved this trip and it was a great opportunity to see some Slovenian coastline. Piran is a beautiful town & we had 3 hours there in total. Kolya was an excellent guide & the walking tour was a perfect end to a great day. Don't forget to bring your passports as you may pass through Italy.

  Very good trip. Enjoyed Piran and Mat, our guide, was very pleasant, informative and friendly. Only problem was he drove very fast ie 90mph in a mini bus which is far too fast when having other people's lives in your hands. Was relieved when back in Ljubljana.

  this trip was useful and enjoyable on many counts—all thanks to Kolya! first, we had a great introduction to the history of the whole of Slovenia and narrowed in on the genesis of Piran - giving one a perspective and context to understand a place better. next, time on our own that allowed an easy-paced exploration of the town of Piran — soaking in the sights and sounds. the town itself is beautiful with an evident Italian character you can’t miss. Kolya joined us back toward the end to share some extra bits of history of the town, anecdotes and trivia that made trip all the more meaningful. all in all a highly recommended tour for those who want to deviate from the usual places of interest and take a peek into lesser known history of a city. thank you!

  We had an amazing guide, K who was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Piran is stunning and so worth a trip out from Ljubljana, just to wave at both Italy and Croatia. Highly recommended. Well organised and lots to see.

  Disappointed with Piran in general based on comments we’d had prior to our trip. Expected far more from the ‘city’. It’s not a city, it’s a small town & away from the main square & sea front, the narrow backstreets are quite scruffy, not at all picture worthy as we were led to believe. Climbed up to the church & yes, there’s a view but nothing that spectacular. We are well travelled & this was one we should have missed.

  Fantastic afternoon travelling through the beautiful autumn colours from Ljubljana to Piran on the coast. Luka was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. Highly recommend.

  The Piran Half Day tour was exactly what we were looking for. Our driver and guide, Mat, was fabulous. He was funny and very knowledgeable. My partner and I enjoyed eating al fresco during the sunset, buying local salt and olive oil products, and exploring the beautiful views. A perfect afternoon activity from Ljubljana.
