Some walking and waiting. Lugano was not worth the drive. Guide was wonderful and spoke great English.

Wonderful way to see Lake Como. We had planned for a smaller group excursion on a train vs bus but a national train strike impacted or plans. The motor coach transfer was nice with a very talented driver. I would not want to drive those streets! Beautiful views! Our guide Anna did a great job keeping the large group together, and gave us enough time to explore the areas on our own. Lagano is a cute village with some nice shopping- but you don’t have time to do VAT so keep that in mind on purchases. But definitely take your passport. They say it on the website, but it doesn’t say it in your confirmation or ticket… so it’s easy to overlook. You do go to Switzerland and they may or may not stop the bus to check.

Well worth it.. our guide Anna was excellent . Lake Como an Bellagio were amazing to see.. as well as Lake Lugarno.. walking around Bellagio an the boat tour were the highlights ..
Don’t forget to bring your passport or you won’t be able to go

The organization was disappointing. A simple reminder from the operator that all participants needed to bring their passports would have made a big difference. It would’ve taken just a minute to send, but it could have been the difference between a 1-star and a 5-star experience.

This was a fun trip but honestly they need to not stop in Lugano. It’s a very expensive shopping area. Nobody’s gonna shop in any of those shops. Because if they could afford to, they wouldn’t be on a tour bus tour they’d have a private tour going lol! By the time we got to Lugano we just wanted to use the bathroom and leave but had to waste an hour there. Just drive by it if they need to. And then allow more time in Bellagio and Lake Como.
