Maya bay will be temporarily closed during August - September 2025 for conservation and restoration, as officially announced by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation.
Please be aware that the boats depart from Ton Sai Beach Pier. If your accommodation isn't located on Ton Sai Beach, you'll need to arrange a longtail boat early in the morning to bring you to Ton Sai Pier.

>>Meeting time is 6:00 a.m. in front of McDonald's on Phi Phi Don Island, next to Tonsai pier. >>Depart from the pier to “Maya Bay” which was the backdrop for the movie 'The Beach', proceed to the iconic a wonderful paradise with turquoise water. Relax and admire the remarkable scenery from 'The Beach' movie. >>Next, enjoy swimming at Phileh Lagoon, the jewel of the Phi Phi archipelago also known as the emerald lagoon. The enclosed lagoon is enclosed by jagged, towering limestone cliffs making the water extremely calm and beautiful. >>Depart to Viking Cave which is used for harvesting swallow bird nests. This cave is one of the attractions at Phi Phi Leh. Although it is not allowed to go inside the cave, all the boat tours stop close enough for taking photos. Next to see crab-eating macaque monkeys in their natural habitat at Monkey Bay. >>Take time to swimming and snorkeling with tropical fishes and corals. If it is your lucky day, you will see Blacktip reef sharks. >>Finally, visit Bamboo Island to enjoy lunch on the white powder beach.The great place to relax on the beach. At about 2:30 p.m. transfer back to Tonsai Pier where your tour ends.

3.00It was pretty crowded on the boat. Also the full day felt long and all the best stuff was in the morning and lunch was nothing special. Id recommend the half day but not the full day.

4.00Was a fun day. Monkey beach isn't really worth it, and because of high tide we ended up spending 2 hrs on bamboo beach which was a bit too much. But those are not really controllable factors. Overall, boat was good, locations were good. Being able to get to maya bay early was amazing! As was swimming in phi-ley lagoon and the two snorkeling spots.

5.00Amazing!! Experience. The whole day is full of activities, exploring the different beaches, bays, and snorkel spots. Definitely recommended if you are staying in Phi Phi for some time. Take a lot of cool pictures.

4.00They were right on time for everything. The 4 hr 6:30 - 10:30 tour is a more valuable one. The first snorkelling point had lot of jelly fish. The water level in Maya Bay was also less (font know because of low tide or the season)
