  Our experience was fabulous! Great Viator communication and a helpful chat. We can’t say enough positive things about Leslie our tour guide! Informative, friendly, helpful, accommodating and approachable. We were so fortunate he was our guide!!!

  If your goal is to see beautiful places and you dont know how to reach that goal, start with Viator. Our trip to Butchard Garden was outstanding, with Gordie, the trip was rewarding. Gordie was all around, so caring to his ward, even with a big number of people. So glad we had him!

  I enjoyed the tour very much. The tour guide (Ed) was very knowledgeable. My disappointment was the time in the gardens felt very rushed. We only had an hour and a half there and I really took the tour in order to experience the gardens. I would’ve preferred more time in the gardens less time exploring downtown Victoria, which I found rather boring. Thank you for the opportunity to review. Thank you for the opportunity to review.

  GREAT garden area. Could have spent all time here! Beautiful ferry ride; great seating and food choices, would've been even better on a sunny skies day. I'd skip Victoria altogether; while nice downtown and water area, theres not enough time to partake of things. Need *at least* 3 hrs here to take more in. Driver Gordie was FANTASTIC!

  We spent some time driving around Vancouver then off to the ferry to Butchart Gardens. Our driver, Ed was very informative throughout the journey. Butchart gardens makes it well worth the trip! We then visited Victoria which was picturesque but only had time to eat because we had 1 1/2 hours before having to catch the bus back to the ferry…. And we would not arrive back at our hotel until after 9pm.

  To start off, our driver Ed was outstanding. We were picked up on time in a comfortable coach bus. I wish the seats had seatbelts. As we drove through Vancouver and Victoria Island, Ed pointed out places of interest. He made the long drive very interesting. The Butchart Gardens were magnificent. I wish we had more time there to enjoy more of the beautiful nature that surrounded us. Afterwards our driver, Ed made recommendations of places to eat. He nailed it with Nautical Nelly‘s. It was a great! All and all, it was a wonderful day.

  We were picked up from our hotel in Vancouver then brought 5 blocks to transfer to a larger bus. We were picked up 15 minutes early, but we were ready and waiting. Once we transferred to the larger bus, the driver then left and we headed to the ferry. He kept repeating that we (the bus) was going to be late and we couldn't miss the timing of the ferry. We arrived at the ferry on time to be included in the next ferry, but then the ferry was late arriving by 20 minutes. Once we rode the ferry to Vancouver Island, he then "took a different route" to get us to Butchart Gardens sooner because of the "delays". We arrived at the Gardens at 1:15 pm. At that time we were told that we had until 3:00 pm to view/visit the Gardens, but we had to be back on the bus by 3:00 pm to leave because some had reservations for tea in Victoria at 3:30 pm. We have now travelled since 10:00 am to set to the Gardens to be told that we have 1 hour and 45 minutes to visit. We get back on the bus and leave to go to Victoria. We arrive there at 3:45 pm. We are then told we have until 5:20 in Victoria and to be back to the bus so that we wouldn't miss the ferry. The 2 ladies that had their reservations for 3:30 pm get off the bus first and then the rest. We leave Victoria at 5:30 pm, begin to travel back to the ferry and make it for the ferry. Once off of the ferry, the driver tells us that the following drop off hotels will be "handed over to another bus" and he will bring us the rest of the way to our hotels. He said he had to be home by 9:30 pm. Our group of 4 was in this changeover. We then meet the new bus, we get on along with about 6-10 others. We are then brought to Downtown Vancouver and the second hotel stop, we are told to "get off the bus here and our hotel is just around that corner". We arrived back to our hotel a few minutes after 10:00 pm. Our cost for 4 people to do this tour was $764.24. It was advertised as Butchart Gardens, Victoria and Gulf Islands Cruise. I feel that this cost is too high for the visit of Butchart Gardens for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The entire day we felt we were being rushed and "we were late". I would not advise anyone staying in Vancouver to do this tour as most of your time is spent traveling on a bus. And our perception of a "Gulf Islands Cruise" was not being on a ferry.

  Dry long day. Lots of time on bus and ferry. Butchart gardens are amazing but we felt rushed to go through it. Needed more time.

  Great day, spoilt a little by the weather. Our tour leader, Bobby, was first class and is a natural for the job. The gardens were beautiful and our visit to Victoria delightful.
