Our full day trip from Vienna shows you the must-see places in Austria in a comfortable and flexible manner.
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Austrian Alps, where you will find out the facts of the highlight of the Wachau Valley, the magnificent Benedictine Abbey of Melk.
As you continue your journey, you will experience the natural splendour of the Salzkammergut Lake District, a paradise of serene waters and stunning alpine scenery.
The next highlight of the trip is the unique village of Hallstatt, located right on the shores of an Alpine lake with an amazing view of the huge mountains rising steeply from a narrow valley.
The next highlight is the City of the Sound of Music - Salzburg, where you will have free time to stroll through the Old Town, Mirabel garden, Mozart's Birthplace and enjoy the world capital of classical music.
If you find yourself enchanted by this magnificent city, you can stay there longer and return to Vienna at your own expenses by train.

Please note that you will cover approx. 660 km. by motorway on this day. It is approx. 8,5 hours drive with multiple stops. You will spend minimum 1 hour in Hallstatt and max. 2 hours in Salzburg. In case of traffic jams, the time can be shortened.
This tour is created for inquisitive travellers who want to visit the most important cities in a short time. If you want to get to know these cities in more details, we strongly advise you to go to each of these cities separately.
To save your free time in the cities, we also recommend you to bring light snacks and water. You can eat on the bus as long as you don't disturb other tourists.
Tour is not recommended for infants and very slow-moving disabled persons.

4.00Hallstatt was MAGICAL! I could’ve spent the entire day there. Salzburg was very cool but I enjoyed it less than Hallstatt personally, and would’ve been fine skipping that area - though the scenery on the way was stunning. The tour guide was nice, knowledgeable and efficient. The bus ride was very uncomfortable for us. Not a ton of leg room and cramped.

4.00This was a great experience ,lily our tour manager was narrating stories all the way during the tour which was like watching a movie unfold in front of you . Special thanks for Zohan our driver . One additional request is to add a stop in Traunsee for 30 min for photo shoot .

1.00Poor time management and there is no enough time to visit any of the place. For example, in Hallstatt there is no time allocated for boating. The management should consider of visitors who come to see the location for the first time and want to make most of it.

2.00This is a long trip that isn’t really worthwhile for what you see and do. Little time at Melk; Halstatt was very worthwhile - especially the charnel house - but Salzburg was disappointing. Wasn’t impressed with our guide Olga either.
