Our full day trip from Vienna shows you the must-see places in Austria in a comfortable and flexible manner.
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Austrian Alps, where you will find out the facts of the highlight of the Wachau Valley, the magnificent Benedictine Abbey of Melk.
As you continue your journey, you will experience the natural splendour of the Salzkammergut Lake District, a paradise of serene waters and stunning alpine scenery.
The next highlight of the trip is the unique village of Hallstatt, located right on the shores of an Alpine lake with an amazing view of the huge mountains rising steeply from a narrow valley.
The next highlight is the City of the Sound of Music - Salzburg, where you will have free time to stroll through the Old Town, Mirabel garden, Mozart's Birthplace and enjoy the world capital of classical music.
If you find yourself enchanted by this magnificent city, you can stay there longer and return to Vienna at your own expenses by train.

Please note that you will cover approx. 660 km. by motorway on this day. It is approx. 8,5 hours drive with multiple stops. You will spend minimum 1 hour in Hallstatt and max. 2 hours in Salzburg. In case of traffic jams, the time can be shortened.
This tour is created for inquisitive travellers who want to visit the most important cities in a short time. If you want to get to know these cities in more details, we strongly advise you to go to each of these cities separately.
To save your free time in the cities, we also recommend you to bring light snacks and water. You can eat on the bus as long as you don't disturb other tourists.
Tour is not recommended for infants and very slow-moving disabled persons.

Too much time on the bus, not enough time at destinations.

2.00This review has nothing to do with the driver or our guide. They were fantastic along with the bus accommodations . In general, this was just too much time sitting on the bus and very limited time at tHalstatt and Salzburg. With the our long group tour in Salzburg we were only left with 45 minutes to do our own thing which was find a snack, the toilet, and return to the bus. We didn’t get to see anything other than what the tour guide showed us which is not what we were interested in.
It’s a very busy day but...

5.00It’s a very busy day but definitely worth it to get the most of your time in Austria. There were incredible views and a lot of culture to see and listen to through the tour guides. Our guide for the trip was Sofia and she was amazing! Natasha gave us the tour of Salzburg and she was brilliant too!
Long Day But Worth It

5.00Had a great time yesterday. We left the city centre a little after 8 am and got back at 9:07 pm. I would take out the Melk stop. Lily was our guide and explained things clearly. The 2-story bus was comfortable. Made a quick stop on the way back home for toilets. I definitely recommend this trip.

5.00It was an excellent tour. The bus was a double deck very comfortable and driving was safe. Sabrine was an outstading as a guide tour. She explained places in detail and was very attentive. Overall an amazing experience this trip.

2.00I took my family on the tour on Tuesday March 31st. and we were very excited to go. We had comfortable seats on the bus. And our tour guide was good. He tried hard and that was appreciated. His accent was quite thick and sort of hard to understand if I’m being very honest and that was hard. but we could tell at least he cared. The first stop at the monastery is interesting - And an important bathroom break. The second stop (Hallstatt) was magical. A wonderful village and the highlight of this tour. Then onto Salzburg. We got off with our headsets attached and ready to meet Natalia. This is when the tour fell apart. She was extremely quiet almost mumbling, she was unenthusiastic and when some clients pointed out she was hard to hear she snapped at them! She was extremely rude. Like it was shocking. But also, this part is rushed and without meaning and you feel like sheep following her around crossing off landmarks. An Natalia was so bored and therefore boring! While she is giving her rote routine she almost puts you to sleep. We didn’t like this part at all and couldn’t wait to get back on the bus. It was a lot of money to spend and a long way to drive to have that experience.

5.00We had a wonderful day touring around Austria. Melk, Hallstatt and Salzburg were beautiful little towns. We had some amazing food, got to see some beautiful places and architecture, and learned about these wonderful places.
