During this tour you will reach Mt Etna with expert guide- the highest active volcano in Europe, and then descend to the Mediterranean sea and have a boat tour(NOT Private boat tour) of Taomina coastline and Isola Bella. This is a unique experience to visit the highest volcano and then admire it from the sea! This tour includes private pickup and drop-off at your accommodation or port in Taormina and nearby towns with private car. The boat tour is about 2 hours.

We recommend wearing comfortable closed-toe shoes and bringing extra layers, such as something warm and a windbreaker or rain jacket, to be prepared for changing weather conditions on Etna and a swimsuit for the boat tours.

5.00My boyfriend and I traveled to Taormina and couldn’t have chosen a better tour guide to show us the volcanos than Corrado. He was so informative and passionate about the volcano. The boat tour was the perfect way to end the trip, we got to jump in the water and enjoy the beautiful views.

5.00Our guide Corrado was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He tailored the tour to our interests and abilities. He arrived early in a clean car with fresh water for us and he was well prepared with jackets for the mountain and seat covers after the boat ride. The wine and honey tasting was a great way to break up the morning and the arrancini lunch was fantastic! I would highly recommend this tour! Wear your swimsuit under hiking clothes because there is no where to change on the boat ride and the water was so inviting!

5.00We spent the morning on Mt Etna with Corrado, who was excellent. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the volcano and the surrounding area and showed us various parts of the mountain that enhanced our trip and visit to Mt Etna. We walked away with a richer understanding of Mt Etna and its importance to the region because of Corrado.

5.00Mt. Etna was incredible! We were able to do some climbing after getting settled in the hall. We weren't prepared for the significant drop in temperatures. Fortunately, our guide had extra coats. (The volcano erupted days afterwards. So it may not be available to tour currently.) We then visited a wine/olive oil/honey tasting that we really enjoyed.

5.00We had an excellent experience with Alessandro! We enjoyed the entire day, and he was wonderful with our 12 and 13 year olds as well. This tour made Sicily one of the best stops of our cruise! We added the boat tour option and that was also a highlight with the beautiful sites.

5.00Trip date- April 2024-Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Alessandra was prompt and communication was excellent. She shared lots of local knowledge about the area and even more about Mt. Etna! It was a perfect amount of time and a great way to see Mt. Etna and the Taormina coastline. Following the Etna tour we had lunch in a city park space that looked out to the sea. Lunch was great and made locally. Alessandra helped us with our order. We opted for local beer with our sandwiches for something different. From there we went to the marina to catch a boat. One other couple joined us there. Our captain was fabulous and a unique perspective of Taormina area from the sea. This is where we had our sparkling wine.

5.00We had an amazing experience and highly recommend! We had our tour with Elena and cannot say enough how wonderful she was. She was so informative and attentive. The private tour is well worth it. After our volcano tour we had an enjoyable boat ride which was had amazing views!
