However all the views of Ekeberg and the Holmenkollen Ski are free. And so is the famous Vigeland Sculpture Park where we guide you strolling through.

Starting at your hotel (either with the Stroll or the Roll first) we guide you through our history from the Medieval age, through the renaissance, the capital development in the 19th century to our vibrant living city center of today.

Then up hill to the Vigeland sculpture park and the Holmenkollen ski area, and maybe the famous apple cake at Frognerseter traditional restaurant?

And top of our tour is entering the 130 years old Polar Ship Fram and the fantastic multi media show surrounding it.

Vigeland Park

Some kilometres west of the city centre is the great Vigeland Sculpture Park, open all day and night to the public. The several hundred outdoor sculptures illustrate the circle of life. We are happy to give you a guided tour of the park.

Holmenkollen Chapel

..and Holmenkollen Ski Jump. Oslo is situated between the fjord and the forest. The forest is called Oslo Marka, and is our main area of recreation, particularly in winter since we love skiing. We take you up to the Holmenkollen hill to see our national symbol of skiing and view of the city. Possible "top-tour" to the ski jump tower (NOK 160 often a queue) and an exciting Ski Simulator (NOK110)

With the expert advice of our guide, Janicke Haga, we planned a jam packed day in Oslo. We hit all the hit spots and couldn't have asked for a better experience for first time visitors to the city. Janicke was so knowlegeable and flexible with our schedule, we felt with were with a friend showing off her city. We would recommend her guiding services to anyone visiting Oslo.

Janicke is easily among the best guides we’ve ever hired. She was mindful to show us the sights that were our priority and to get us back to port in plenty of time for all aboard. She is a wealth of information and engaged our two children in the conversation at every opportunity possible. Communication was excellent leading up to the tour. Visiting Oslo, Norway was made more wonderful by our touring with Steiner. We first drove to Ekeberg for a very scenic view of Oslo. Our guide, Steiner, gave an oversight and introduction to Oslo’s history. Steiner guides on the weekends and works for the government in Human Resources during the week. He’s very knowledgeable about the area. We drove to the the east area, Gronland, and saw the industrial area along the Aker river and enjoyed the murals in the Hipster area. We went to the posh area of Frogner where the Vigeland Park is a prime area for families. City Hall is a site not to be missed. The beautiful murals are beyond compare. I’ve never seen any city hall as opulent as this. We even got a private tour of the council chamber. Security guards escorted us to this area. Steiner our guide and SJ our contact person were very easy and flexible to work with. We traveled in a big bus for just the 4 of us. It was a very comfortable experience. Steiner was flexible with our planning and we enjoyed hearing all the tales of Oslo. Highly recommend this company and tour guide. Thanks again to all who helped make this happen! Cindy & Justin
