• Very informative and fun view of Barbados

  We booked this trip to make the most of coming to Barbados and see the island. So glad we did! Even though it rained all day, it seemed the sun came out each time we stepped out of the mini bus. We were picked up by Deon at 8:45am from our hotel near Oistins. We then stopped at 3 other hotels and collected 4 other people - brilliant to have such a small group. We travelled up the coast and Deon was superb in pointing out local buildings etc and very informative of the area. Each stop lasted about 15 to 20 minutes which was plenty of time to see everything and then you were back on the mini bus to the next stop. Lunch was amazing and gave you a chance for a chat with your fellow travellers. We really did get to see some amazing places around the island which we would never have found on our own. Deon stopped many times to show us the local fruits and animals. Plenty of comfort breaks and comfortable drive. I would highly recommend!

  

  

  

  

  

• Experiencing my birth place on another level

  I've seen many places and experienced many activities on the island, but yesterday was truly one for the story books. Leaving Barbados at the age of 10, everytime I return, there's a new experience. Yesterday's visit took me to some familiar places like St John's Parish Church which also allowed me to say a quick hello to family across the street. Oistons, a food favorite spot never disappoints, the culture at Codrington College was eye opening also the immaculate grounds, but Bae Bae, St Andrew, St Lucy and St. Peter are truly worthy of the culture, the views, the experiences and culture I dis not know existed. Barbados is a true Gem of the Carribean Sea. The food at Sand Dune and sorry if spelt incorrectly was stellar, tasty and in abundance. Now let me tell you about our driver Haseem again apologies if misspelled. Quite the gentleman, knowledgeable, pleasant and trust me patient tour guide. No matter the question or request l, Haseem made it happen. Thank you for an experience of a lifetime in a place called home away from home, the land of my birth Barbados. Forever grateful and honered to say IMABAJAN.........

  This tour is a great way to experience the island’s varied landscapes, taking in the west, north, east, and south coasts as well as parts of the interior. Mark drove considerately throughout and provided a lively, engaging commentary. Lunch was enjoyable and featured authentic local cuisine. Unfortunately, the pickup logistics were poorly managed. Two groups at the same pickup point were given times that differed by 70 minutes, and another group waited nearly 90 minutes beyond the communicated pickup time.

  Thoroughly recommend SunTours advised a couple of days before hand that original tour USD80 was cancelled because of lack of participants. However they offered to continue for additional fee USD45 each. At USD125 for a 7hour tour, this looked it would be good value compared with the price the ship tours wanted. Well pleased when our tour became a private tour in a modern and very clean taxi. Driver (Erskine) was very courteous and informative guide and driver. Excellent lunch included in the price. We had a very good look around the Island which is beautiful. Driver conscious of getting us back to the ship on time and paced the tour so we got back with 40 minutes to spare - ie maximum time for seeing sights with no risk of missing departure.

  Good trip and orientation. The driver/tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The lunch was preordered so service was very smooth.

  Pick up was as arranged Driver was very knowledgeable and gave some interesting facts as he lives and grew up there so was able to answer all our questions. it was really nice seeing all the different parts of Barbados. If you would like to see all of Barbados then this is the trip for you, highly recommended

  I am not sure how the tour was officially called, because we ended up up in it somehow by a (lucky) accident, having been “rescued” when our initial guide “deserted” us at the first stop and we were picked by the next coach. It was fortunate, because we got to meet the guide Richard Smith - a big guy, a great guy, excellent guide, informative, friendly and competent. As he said it, we came as tourists and left as Barbadians, having fallen in love the beautiful nature and picturesque places. Thank you Richard for the unforgettable experience!

  We turned out to be the only 2 participants on this tour, so we felt a bit special. Our driver/tour guide, Alison, showed us plenty and we came away with a very positive opinion of Barbados. Lunch was good and my favourite stops were St John's Church and the Morgan Lewis former sugar cane mill, where Suzanne was very friendly and informative. Alison seemed a little reserved to begin with, but she opened up as the day went on and seemed happy to give us as long as we wanted at the various stops, so we felt relaxed and really enjoyed the day. Thanks, Alison!

  Full round of the island with the lunch included. It's an interesting tour and Shawn was a kind guide that answered the maximum of questions and gave advices for my stay. It's good to start the discovery of the island in these conditions.

  It’s basically a taxi trip with no information or commentary en route. The taxi was uncomfortable as the operator had decided to fill a 4 seater taxi with 5 passengers. Meaning 2 people were sat on 2 bump seats at the back.No other alternative seating. There are many pot holes during the trip so we weren’t able to complete the full trip as it was so cramped and uncomfortable. Also I had no idea why we were taken to Bottom Bay. I missed the west coast part of the tour where I really wanted to visit. The lunch stop was good and the staff were great but a taxi came to take us back at that point. A lady very kindly gave me a takeaway portion. I would think carefully about booking this trip as I would not want anyone else to have this experience. We are out of pocket as well.
