Begin your full-day excursion to Ile Aux Cerf with a complimentary hotel pick-up at your accommodation anywhere on the Paradise Island. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding to your comfortable vehicle, then set off to Trou D'eau Douce, a fishing village nestled on the East Coast of Mauritius.
Ile Aux Cerfs
Arriving at Trou D'eau Douce, you will board to your speed boat to go to Ile aux Cerfs. You will certainly enjoy the speed boat ride from Trou D’eau Douce Village to Ile aux Cerf Island where you can enjoy swimming or just relax on the white sandy beach on the island. As part of this speed boat ride, you will get to enjoy cruising through the crystal clear water of the east coast lagoons with breathtaking scenery all around. As you approach the island by boat, you will see the swaying palm trees and the pure white beaches framed by the vivid turquoise waters. You will have free time to spend on the beach, going for a stroll, swimming in the lagoon, snorkeling or just relaxing and tanning. This majestic island is situated on the east coast of Mauritius. The beautiful island allows you to indulge in numerous water sports activities like parasailing, Banana riding, snorkeling, Tube riding, undersea walk, swimming, and sunbathing by lying on the silvery sand of the beautiful beaches.

3.00This is a mixed review. We booked for a 9.00 am pick up and were advised the day before that we needed to be picked up at 7.45am so immediately we were rushing around changing plans to be ready for this trip. I enquired about the change of time and was told that it was because we needed to be at the port promptly and ready to leave on time at 9am. After a 90 minutes drive from our hotel we arrived, only to wait on the quayside for 40 minutes! Tourists should be wary here, lunch on a private island does not mean your lunch will be private, it means the island is privately owned and you will be shoved in a large group and mass-catered for. The food and drink included was, whilst very delicious, very limited in quantity! This trip offered free bottled water, but at no time were we ever offered bottled water. We were taken to see the GRSE waterfall, which was lovely. The island itself (Ile aux Cerfs) is beautiful, but your time is spent searching for a spot on a crowded beach to sit - I would not recommend this excursion - we were offered the same trip by a beach seller for a fraction of the price - unfortunately we had already paid for this one, otherwise we'd have definitely done it with them! Avoid this excursion (we found it on Get Your Guide).

3.00For the cost of it the sunbeds should have been included in the price not extra. It was not an English speaking tour which is what we asked for. We were with all French speaking and we had a nominal amount of English interpretation. Again not what we paid for.

1.00We waited as described in the tour details at the reception of our hotel in the morning but the driver did not come. Then we contacted him and he told us that the tour was canceled due to bad weather. He also said that he had already informed us by email but that was a lie, we have not received any notification from him through any communication channel (Whatsapp/Email/Call). Luckily, we were able to organize the identical tour spontaneously via a member of staff at the hotel reception. It was a wonderful day with top weather (see fotos from the same day), so the Freshverde Holidays provider obviously just did not want to do his tour that day. In the end, we actually paid a lot less through the hotel than the original tour would have cost. Despite everything, the spontaneously canceled tour was the only negative experience we had during our honeymoon.

2.00Not a great experience. Boat driver played overly loud music with swearing while at the waterfalls. Was served a hotdog without a bun as the sausage lol, too many people. Not very comfortable. Driver was a bit late. Boat was late coming back. Swimming was very shallow so didn’t really swim. Restroom were very dirty! Very long drive to and from port about 1 hour! Oh and they ran out of rum after 1 drink! What a joke!

5.00Everything went wonderfully, the boat, the food and the excursion in general. Very rememberable with mermaidcruise Mauritius. Excellent attention and delicious food on the beachfront.

5.00This tour was spot on! The staff ensured our family were safe and cared for. The bbq was lovely and we enjoyed the day very much. the kids loved it, the hotel pick up and drop off was on time. Thank you very much.
