Our guide Dimas was so nice and helpfull for everything. He knows many stories about the sites visited (ATM cave and Xunantunich). Besides he was very precautious for our safety. The lunch included was very tasty. Thank you very much Dimas. Eve (de Francia)

The ATM cave experience was a fun exploration. I didn’t realize how much we would be in the water. It was kind of an adventure. You should be in decent shape to do this. The Mayan ruins were interesting too. If you were going to Tikal or Caracol, you could skip the Maya ruin portion of the trip as it is a much smaller site. But who’s interested to see too

This was the best cave experience I’ve been on. No artificial light and periods where you walk barefoot was a first! It’s a shame they don’t allow cameras to record the fantastic sights. Our guide Dimas was very insightful and pleasant and the lunch was great. Lots of water and narrow openings so decent dexterity is required but it’s worth it. In the unexpected category, the drive belt broke on our vehicle several miles after we had left the cave leaving us stranded with no cell service! Luckily Wayne, a colleague of Dimas was following nearby in a van and was able to cram the three of us in his vehicle where 8 people already were, and then deliver all his regular guests to their destinations while also getting us to the Ruins portion of the tour by 3pm to catch the ferry and meet a back up Guide! Then he had to go back and get Dimas. As Wayne says, teamwork makes the dream work!

This tour was unforgettable! If you go to Belize, you need to book this. We had Dimas as our tour operator and he was the best man for the job. I went with my best friend and we had never been caving before. Dimas made us feel so safe throughout the entire experience. My friend was nervous because she had ACL surgery a year ago, but Dimas was amazing at ensuring she felt comfortable through some of the tougher portions. He was knowledgeable with all of the history, and answered all of our questions. He made this experience so much better!

Demas guided us through ATM and Xunantunich and I could not praise him or the company more! His knowledge was unparalleled and the process of a 7am to 4:30pm day was incredibly smooth and comfortable. For two people the full day experience was less than $500 but was worth way more in terms of what we got out of both the cave and the ruins. Lunch was provided by a local to San Ignacio restaurant and had vegetarian options available if disclosed ahead of time. The tortillas and plantains were awesome! Would recommend this company and Demas to everybody.

Sneakers or a shoe which has toe protection is recommended. Many rocks are hiding under water and kicking them happened more than once in my tevas! Probably compensated strength wise for what a better shoe would have done for me. Extremely worth the long day (~7am to 4:30pm) and the guides (we had Demas) are incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Lunch was picked up and brought with- locally made from San Ignacio- and had vegetarian options available if disclosed ahead of time. The unfit will struggle with this. The hike to ATM is a stroll but there’s a lot of clambering, pulling body weight, and a couple (no big deal) squeezes through rocks inside the cave. To enter the area of the cave wherein you go without shoes, you must climb up a ridge-shaped boulder then lift yourself over a gap of a few feet to a higher ledge. Xunan is uphill a short walk and has loads of steep steps, so doing this second could be tough for some. We arrived about 3pm and had 1hr 15min there before they closed. But that meant we largely had it to ourselves in the cooler part of the day. A 10/10 experience overall!

We had limited time in San Ignacio and chose this tour to hit the highlights. Cayo Inland Expeditions offered this perfect tour package for us. The cave tour started earlier than many of the others so the trail and cave were quiet when we got in. Hector was a great tour guide, both for history and humor. Pedro was an awesome tour guide for Xunantunich as well as great driver and good company on the drives to and from the cave. I Highly recommend this tour package.

Fabulous trip. Our ATM guide Hector was awesome. Despite the van flat tire the whole staff got everything going on time and we got both portions of the trip in time. Definitely recommend

This is one of the best tours that we experienced while in Belize 🇧🇿.. Dimas was a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about everything he showed us. He made it super fun as well. If you are going to Belize this tour is 100% a must and ask for Dimas to be your tour guide! I promise you won't be disappointed. Unfortunately I can't add photos of the A.T.M part of the tour as cameras and phones are not allowed..
