Feel the power of mother nature and explore this million years history just in one day! Belogradchik rocks are natural phenomenon located in the Northwestern part of Bulgaria. For millions of years the nature has molded interesting forms from the rocks which are connected with many legends. We will see the Madonna, the Eagle, the Schoolgirl, Pinocchio and many more, depends on your imagination! Among the rocks we will visit the Belogradchick fortress which was built during the Roman Empire.
If you can handle more adventures we will make an easy 45 minutes downhill hike around the rocks (OPTIONAL)

5.00Just great. Nice guide wo drove carefully and accommodating. The guide gave me as much time as I wanted to enjoy the stunning view 🤩. What’ perfect: he showed me nice spots on the area to have the best view and angles. Just excellent! Thanks a lot.

5.00Doesn't get any better. Ventsislav was our guide and one of the best we've had in our 60 years of worldwide traveling. Showed up on time in a very comfortable vehicle. Safe, courteous, excellent driver. Venty was extremely knowledgable about his country, friendly, humorous , polite and EXTREMELY helpful during our walks and climbs in more difficult areas. He needs to be cloned and to train others in the tourism industry. The drive and destinations were worth every minute of the very scenic drive and destination...Great Tour! Guides don't get any better than Ventsislav!

3.00The Belogradchik Fortress and Rocks are stunning. There’s a bit of a climb on the stairs to reach the top of the hill but then you’ve got amazing views for the rocks and mountains. The drive there is long tho and with just one sight visited we didn’t feel it was quite worth all the money we paid as there was no visit to the caves that were described in the itinerary.

5.00My sister and I really enjoyed this tour! Our guide was very helpful and experienced. He explained a lot about the historical and cultural background of the places we saw. He also made sure we were prepared for the weather and was vey punctual and hospitable.

5.00It was an amazing time with a lot of quality and free time to use at the places. Lots of informations and extra recommendations for other trips and ideas for the upcoming days. He also was super accommodating and friendly. We had a beautiful time together and enjoyed our private trip a lot! He also is a very good and careful driver with a lot passion to bring his guests save from A to B.

5.00This is a wonderful day trip out of Sofia. Really a Bulgaria highlight. Something that starts with a stunning drive through a brilliant mountain pass. The views are second to none on-site and it isn't super busy. 11/10, would recommend any time.

5.00It is an excellent opportunity to do something out of the urban city. The Belogradchik Rocks and Venetsa Cave have a very interesting story and many many years of becoming what they are today along with a hand that history provided and created what it is today. Our driver and tour guide Ventsislav was amazing! It was really a pleasure to spend the day with him and he is also an careful and excellent driver. We took a lunch break and had a pleasant chat with him. I would highly recommend!
