  The trip to Chiang Rai is fascinating. The three temples are phenomenal. Curb your expectations on the hot springs. Sami our guide is a great guy unfortunately his English is not so good. He also did not have a lot to add beyond what could read ourselves. He did a great job getting us where we needed to be. Beware that the only road between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai is now and will be under construction. Traffic will add 1-2 hours to your round trip

  We enjoyed being in a small van with a small group of guests (Max 12) we were in 7. Hotel pick up included in the price , guide and top driver. The journey is long but you still have time to appreciate the cultural visit. Lunch is plentiful and done in a local a few steps from the blue temple - basic and essential but varied lunch- Thai taste. A couple of stops, one of which is paid. The spas are a stop along the way for a coffee - nothing fancy but pleasant to dip your feet in the warm waters.

  I booked this trip on 23 Dec 2025 for my birthday celebration with my husband. It was a long trip and the temples are beautiful. The Hot Spring was also nice with the shopping areas around there. However, abit disappointed with the Guide who could not speak proper English. She was struggling with her speech and those sitting behind could not hear or understand her. She seemed inexperienced, did not provide much information of the places and we were left pretty much on our own to explore. It is good if your Guide can explain the history of the places in an interesting manner. Otherwise the long day trip becomes boring.

  This was a long day however the temples are totally worth it. Our guide Goi was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the temples as welll as explaining about Buddhism in general. The pictures you see of the white temple do not do it justice. You have to see it for yourself. Highly recommend this tour.

  Our guide MM was fun and competent. Thank you very much. The 3 temples are superb and the big Buddha impressive.

  Three temples. The giant Lady Buddha, which was mind blowing, followed by the blue temple and the white temple. All were astonishing. Our guide was knowledgeable, helpful, and funny. Our driver did a terrific job, it was a very long drive there and back, but the vehicle was comfortable. Lunch was included and was nice. Although limited for vegetarians. The only part which wasn’t amazing was the hot springs, which was more of a coffee and toilet stop, but the temple is more than made up for it. They are genuinely unforgettable.

  Natthacha our guide for todays group has been really friendly considerate and organised. Had a lovely day with great bunch of new friends. Thai lunch buffet was good. Altogether I loved the group tour experience with new friends

  The trip was everything we expected. The temples are amazing. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. He took the time to get to know as. We were a lovely small group of 10 and he was happy to change iternernary at our request. Food was okay obviously just mass produced for tourist. The only issue we had was we were last on the coach and had to sit on back seats bring in our 70s this was very bumpy and we both had sore backs.
