  First of all our guide John was very good. As was our driver. Always on hand with interesting information and to take photos. The day itself is packed. Highlight was the White temple....amazing. The Blue temple and Karen village close seconds. Wasn't really fussed about the black house. A very full day. Would have been good to know beforehand that no cards were accepted anywhere...so cash needed all day.

  Great and contentful day. A little too little time at White Temple and the Opium Museum. Otherwise very good. Good driver, good guide with straightforward English.

  Very exciting and versatile tour. The white temple and the black house are magnificent! Good, simple lunch buffet. The morning pickup worked perfectly. Time schedule met. Very friendly and knowledgeable crew deserve 10 stars! We can highly recommend the trip!

  A big thank you to our quippy tour guide John and our safe driver Zack for making a day long tour full of adventure! The tour started with a pickup from our hotel and directly to the blue temple (apologies for not adding in Thai names). John gives an informative tour and then lets you wander and meet back at a certain point. No admission for the blue temple and there are restrooms and water along the way on each stop. They also provide cold water in the van (very thoughtful). After the blue temple is the white temple (entrance fee here), again some good information and then time to roam around. From there to the Baandam museum (entrance fee here) and a lovely buffet style lunch at a restaurant down the street from there. Next was the Long Neck Karen village which feels a little intrusive but also humbling. Feels good to know the money you spend contributes to helping others directly and John will advise you to spread the spending around to multiple families. After that is a long drive up the mountain to the Choi Fung tea plantation with incredible views- just so you know it’s cash only there (no entrance fee). Finally you head to the Golden triangle to see the junction of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar and over to the opium museum for education on why they call it the Golden Triangle. (Grab a beer for the long drive back) Hope you’ve made friends on your tour by now- we did and had a lovely night out afterwards.   Great tour, our guide John was knowledgeable and fun to have as a guide for the day. This tour covered all the Chiang Rai landmarks in one day.

  Be prepared to see a lot. Our tour guide John and driver “A” did an excellent job of keeping everything on track. It was a full 10 hours around northern Thailand broken up nicely. Longest drive was about an hour. We saw all the highlights of the area. It was a little fast paced but not too rushed. You have time to see everything and take photos. I would 100% recommend, especially if only here a short time.

  Fantastic day out exploring multiple sites across Chiang Rai. John is a great guide and fully explained the history or purpose at each location and was very helpful with taking photos etc. It is a long day but you get to see so much in one trip, with ample time at each location and it never seemed we were in the transport for too long. Highly recommend this tour!

  Our hosts, John and Sam, were fantastic. John’s sense of humour and Sam’s driving skills made the day. The visit to the White Temple was surprisingly interesting, a pretty thought provoking modern piece of art. The views at the Golden Triangle and Tea Plantation (buy a cake) were also really special. John really made this trip interesting, engaging, informative, and amusing. Top work John, thanks for a great day out.
