This tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter. Visit the World Heritage Sites of Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima and Hiroshima's Atomic Bomb Dome on this leisurely tour. Visit the Main Building of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which was newly reopened after renovations in April 2019. Look forward to seeing wild deer in the untouched abundant nature of Miyajima. Enjoy a comfortable Shinkansen ride between Kyoto and Hiroshima.

After meeting at Sunrise Tours Desk inside Avanti B1F, our staff will guide you to Kyoto Station on foot. From there, you will enjoy a comfortable ride on the Shinkansen bullet train to Hiroshima Station with reserved seating in either a Standard Car or the premium Green Car. Please note: This train journey is unguided. Upon arrival at Hiroshima Station, your local tour guide will greet you on the platform and escort you to the tour bus boarding point, ensuring a smooth and stress-free start to your Hiroshima adventure.
Itsukushima Shrine
Established in the 6th century, this shrine is one of Japan's finest, and is famous for its beautiful Shinden-zukuri style structure (architecture representative of a nobles' residence in the Heian period). The contrast of the green of Mount Misen behind the lacquered shrine pavilion and the blue of the Seto Sea is beautiful and evocative of the underwater palace of Ryugujo.

5.00Jun was an amazing tour guide. She made an all day tour relaxing, engaging and memorable. Her in-depth knowledge was matched by her sense of humour. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fully organised, stress free orientation of Hiroshima.

2.00Directions to the meetings location in Japan were not clear. We missed the group at 7:30 am and due to there lack of communication we never found the group until 4:30 pm. Personally, I'll never use Viator again.

5.00A very well organised tour to Hiroshima by bullet train and to Myajima island where we had enough time to visit . The dome and peace museum were very poignant . Our guide Nob was very attentive, patient and informative about the events. I would recommend the tour

5.00Long day , but life changing as we need to put our world perspective in place. The calm and understanding of Mito helped everyone take in the enormity of the events of the first atomic bomb snd how the residents still live with the ghosts of the event.

5.00Hiroshima and Mijajima Island are must see experiences if you are visiting Japan. Tour is well planned out and our guide Hiro was fantastic. Funny, supportive and full of information!!! It’s a long day but absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!!!
