Giant's Causeway
The Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northern Ireland, is a breathtaking natural wonder famous for its unique hexagonal basalt columns. Located on the Antrim Coast, this geological marvel was formed around 50 to 60 million years ago due to intense volcanic activity. As molten lava cooled rapidly, it contracted and fractured into the distinctive interlocking columns seen today. The site consists of approximately 40,000 basalt pillars, some rising up to 12 meters high, creating a surreal, geometric landscape. According to Irish legend, the Causeway was built by the mythical giant Finn McCool, who constructed it as a bridge to Scotland to challenge his rival, Benandonner. The story adds to the site’s mystique, attracting tourists from around the world. Come walk along the famous stones, and admire formations like the Wishing Chair, the Organ, and the Giant’s Boot. The surrounding cliffs and crashing waves further enhance the dramatic beauty of the site.
Carrick A Rede Rope Bridge
Cross if you dare if not we can bring you to the iconic vantage point where you we be able to catch the spectacular photo. Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a famous tourist attraction in Northern Ireland, spanning 20 meters (66 feet) and suspended 30 meters (98 feet) above the Atlantic Ocean. Located near Ballintoy, it connects the mainland to the small Carrick-a-Rede island. Originally built by fishermen for salmon fishing, the bridge now offers breathtaking coastal views and a thrilling crossing experience. Managed by the National Trust, it attracts thousands of visitors annually. £15 per person to cross rope bridge

5.00We had a great trip with Gerard! He is such a brilliant host, guide and storyteller. We saw all the sights along the stunning northern coastline and finished with the giants causeway when the sun came out. Thanks Gerard for a truly unforgettable experience!

5.00Let me save you time reading the rest of the review: BOOK THIS TOUR! Beautiful day with an excellent guide. We waffled back and forth about doing this tour on our own or with a guide. Ultimately after meeting Gerard on a city tour the prior day, there was only one choice: Gerard! His in depth knowledge of history, GoT, and fantastic ability to tell a story made this trip. He's like your distant Irish cousin that welcomes you home even if your Irish heritage is yards up the family tree. He has a fun spirit, brought snacks to keep the hangry away and kept us moving at comfortable pace. We had 3 generations on our trip. He catered to all of us. His Mercedes sprinter van is super comfortable (and I sat in the way, way back.) I don't want to ruin any surprises, but he has a few in his back pocket. He also takes the best pictures. (Just let him do it, I promise it will be better than yours.) I cannot say enough about this tour, the man and the experience. It simply would not have been awesome without him. Thank you for a great day and a lifetime of memories!

5.00Gerard created an unforgettable, amazing day of Game of Thrones sites including Dunluce Castle & Giants Causeway His vehicle is very comfortable, sparkling clean and filled with snacks & drinks. He has the patience of a saint and is exceptionally flexible with special requests from our multi age family He is very pleasant company, knowledgeable, humorous and took over 100 photos & videos of us through the day…which he sent to me the following morning with no expectation of reimbursement We can honestly say it was our best day in Ireland -thank you Gerard

5.00Our tour with Gerard is one of the highlights from our trip to Northern Ireland. Gerard took the time to share the history of the Belfast area and the Game of Thrones filming locations. Our day was filled with breathtaking views and laughs. We were left with incredible photos and a video that perfectly captured the day. Thank you for making our first visit to Belfast a memorable one.

5.00My family and I had a fantastic day touring Belfast, the Game of Thrones sites and the giant causeway. Gerard had brilliant knowledge of all the sites. Thank you Gerard for looking after my family so well and providing us with sweeties and such a comfy Mercedes and most of all amazing memories. If you are a GOT fan you have to do this tour. Highly recommended
