5.00This was GREAT! The hummingbird place was amazing; so many species and so colorful. We got to have them eat out of our hand! The waterfall hike was beautiful but be aware that it is steep with lots of steps. The butterfly garden was also amazing. So many colorful butterflies everywhere! We ended with the chocolate tour, which was also excellent. Great day all around! Our guide David was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about Ecuador along the way. Highly recommend!

5.00If you are wondering whether to book a tour with David, you should. For context I’m very well traveled. Ecuador and Peru were my 100 and 101 countries to visit. David is as good as it gets. We were referred to David by a client of mine that had booked him in 2025 via Trip Advisor. We are so grateful to be introduced to David. Not only did we do Mindo but in separate full day tours we did Quito/Center of the earth/Cotopaxi and Ottavalo. David is so knowledgeable, kind and goes above and beyond at every opportunity. We met him as our guide and after 4 days together we left him as our friend. After Quito we headed to Galápagos and Lima. David planned out each of those trips for us. His Galápagos itinerary was perfect. 11 days, each day planned out in detail. David, did all of this out of the kindness of his heart. It must have taken him a considerable amount of time and effort to guide us with such detail. Best of luck and we hope you enjoy Ecuador as much as we did. David you are the best. We can’t wait to be back. Rod and Melcsi.

5.00My wife and I had a great day! The hummingbirds and butterflies were beyond our expectations. We swapped the chocolate to a coffee experience and it wasnt any trouble. I would highly recommend.

5.00My husband and I went on this tour February 5, 2026. Josue was our guide and the driver was Javier. They were so fantastic, Josue spoke very good English and answered all our questions! We were picked up at our hotel and Josue stayed with us throughout the whole trip, which was 13 hours. Both my husband and I would highly recommend this tour, gave us a great insight on the Ecuador culture. Larry and Kathryn Vaira

5.00What a wonderful adventure David took us on in the Cloud Forest!! I am very pleased with the length of the tour, it was indeed a full day tour full of adventure; left at 8am and we got back in the city around 5:30-6:00pm. In that time we stopped first at the hummingbird sanctuary which was absolutely amazing, hummingbirds eating out of your hand!! Then to the waterfall where we took the cable car across the ravine and hiked down the lush forest to the Nambilla Falls; beautiful!! Following that we stopped at the butterfly farm, and that was such a wholesome experience where we saw and interacted with many kinds of species of butterflies! Once we had enough of that we went to grab some lunch all together before continuing on to the chocolate tour. That was very special as well as we got to learn about the chocolate making process, chocolate tasting, and facemask! Very enriching experience. It was very educational as he told us lots about all aspects of Ecuadorian life on the way to the cloud forest, and then once in the forest we learned about the biodiversity as well as just enjoying the scenery as we hopped from one activity to the next. Was very much worth the price!! David drove us in his car and was able to adapt and be flexible to our needs, highly recommend.

5.00David was absolutely the best! We were comfortable with him. He was knowledgeable and a personable individual. The stops were great, the hike was great fun, the hummingbird experience was just magical. The butterfly house was filled with breathtaking beauty. The cloud forest was a different world with stunning beauty. Do this! It was amazing.
