Every night at sunset, the truly incredible spectacle of the Penguin Parade occurs on the beaches of Phillip Island. The local colony of little penguins emerges from the water to make their way to the burrows in the sand dunes - and this tour is your chance to witness this unforgettable phenomenon in real life!
We’ll spend the day exploring top attractions including Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park and the Nobbies, before settling in on the sand, ready for the main show at the Penguin Parade. 2.00The guide made very inappropriate jokes some of which were transphobic, sexist, and ethnic. He started 20 minutes late and never gave us a chance to really eat. At the Moonlit Sanctuary, he left one of the passengers behind because he never bothered counting and then blamed the rest of us for not realizing the person was not there. We finally got to the penguin parade but by then it was pretty much dark and the person at the park told me that we had missed the bulk of the penquins coming out of the water. The guides attitude was, "as long as you see some, that's good enough". He just doesn't seem to care about the quality service he provides.

5.00Arriving at noon in Melbourne, part of the group decides to visit the city while I and others in my car go to visit some places. We start the tour at a center where we see many koalas; I must say they are very cute. Then we go along the sea where a strong wind blows to see the penguins, but due to the strong wind, we are only able to see one hidden under a bridge. Along the road, we stop to take a photo where the motorcycle grand prix takes place.

5.00Great day out to Philip Island with some interesting stops along the way. Would highly recommend this day trip to anyone. Our tour guide/bus driver Elliott was excellent throughout, very informative and engaging with some good jokes in between. Made the whole day worthwhile. 👍

4.00The tour guide was fantastic though I forget his name (my bad). Tips for people booking this tour. When you get to the Kangaroo Koala sanctuary, buy the kangaroo food immediately and go directly to feeding the kangaroos as that take time to get them to come to you etc.... Then after that, go to the Koalas or whatever else you'd like to see. The guide said to buy the food at entry or later at the cafe.We waited till the cafe the problem is the cafe is all the way at the end so you have to walk all the way there and then come back for the kangaroos wasting 10-15 mins which we barely didn't have as it is as 1 hour feels really rushed there. The lunch at the town of Cowes also felt rushed (1 hr 5 mins). And for the penguins, we upgraded our tickets to "plus" when we got there. The tour only includes the regular ga tickets which are very distant from the beach and their trail. One very important factor... when you are upgrading your tickets at the penguin parade, they conveniently forget to mention that you can't take pictures or videos of the penguins once the sun sets so if you want to capture the penguins walk etc... it's basically sneaking your phone in incognito mode because the "security" is constantly telling people "no photos/no videos" which made it really annoying for the whole experience, AND there are many "Karens" who love to rat on people taking photos, like seriously mind your own frkn business! Overall decent experience for the price, but be prepared for a long day. We enjoyed it overall.

5.00Great experience seeing the Penguins. They are cute. The driver/tour guide Jono is excellent. He is knowledgeable and fun. He looked after the group well.

5.00driver and tour guide! He was absolutely amazing—so friendly, knowledgeable, and you could really tell he cared about everyone having a great time. I personally had such a good experience, and it was clear he made an effort to keep everyone entertained throughout the day. I did the Moonlit Sanctuary and the Penguin Parade, and I 100% recommend both—it was unforgettable! Thanks again, Steve, for making the day so special!
