This tour was a fabulous way to spend the day. The bus made it easy, Jono was a friendly guide, and the animals (koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, kookaburras and, of course, penguins) were so much fun to see. When seeing the penguins, go as far down the stairs as possible and stay to the right.

What a unique experience. Great tour guide - Burton! Told us exactly where to sit for best views of the March.

Wonderful day tour with James- learned so much about the area, saw all the bucket-list animals and truly enjoyed seeing the little penguins! The only issue we had was with the pickup time: all the communication from Viator was for 12:30- but the tour provider didn’t arrive then. When we communicated with them directly they said it was 1:20. So a bit of a wait

The bus ride, driver and stops were all fantastic (driver just needed to speak louder) but the penguins were a little disappointing I guess because there were SO MANY people, and I mean thousands, and so many of them totally disregarded all requests to put cameras away and remain seated - it was distracting and ruined the experience. Plus, we were a LONG way back from the approx. 20 little penguins, and with low lighting it was quite hard to even see them. I'm sure other nights are more fruitful, and people with better eyesight probably fare better but it's just a shame the penguin-parade organizers have chosen to pack SO many people in and don't provide enough crowd control (or food outlets)!!!

It was a great day but it is quite long so be prepared for that. Also make sure to have a long coat and hat or a poncho in case of bad weather. James, our guide for the day, was terrific! He was so informative and entertaining and has very good taste in music! He was also super helpful with practical suggestions throughout the tour. I highly recommend him!
