  Mr Jackson did great job even though rainy day. We did look out most of the Taipei city in a short period of time. He carefully managed the plan and gave us a lot of stories about taiwan.

  Jackie Lo was great as our guide in Taipei. He was timely in meeting us and was very patient as our wives wanted to spend a lot of time shopping (more so than their husbands). We would highly recommend Jackie to any visitor to Taipei.

  We had a wonderful day with Vincent Lee. He guided us to numerous historical sites across Taipei and ensured we were always at the right spot for fantastic photos. He taught us about the history and culture of Taiwan and took us to several popular food spots in the Yongkang Street district. Vincent picked us up at the cruise port and ensured we were back well before our departure time.

  Our tour guide “Bubbles” was fantastic, very knowledgeable and kept us on schedule. The tour had various location and a good range of things to see and do.

  We cruised into Keelung, Taiwan for 2 days at port. We arranged two days of private tours with Yolo Taiwan, and what a great decision it was. It was substantially less than the cruise line excursions, and we packed way more into our time there than we would have had with the cruise excursions. In addition, our two drivers (1 each day) were beyond exceptional. After making the reservation, we were contacted by Yolo to work on our itinerary with what we wanted to do while we were there. They had some prearranged tours, but we decided to put our own together with what we wanted to see….. no problem on their end. Our arrival into port was delayed for close to 4 hours, but Vincent Hsu (our 1st day guide) was right there waiting for us when we got off. He was amazing!! We had incredible conversations about Taiwan and its history, and he is truly an amazing person. We cut our tour short due to our late arrival, but we created a strong bond in a short amount of time with him. My wife and I took the tour with my mother, and with Vincent we felt like he was part of the family. Vincent is also ex Taiwan military, was a paid bodyguard of VIP’s during Covid, and he had a bulletproof van (not that it was needed…..lol). Taiwan is a very safe place, but we felt even safer with Vincent. Our 2nd day was a packed day with 6 major stops. Our guide was Jackson for the day, and he was also an amazing guide!! He was great to talk to about Taiwan and everything. I don’t want to spoil it, but he does have a surprise for his guests (it involves a golden microphone). It is a memory that we will never forget!! I don’t understand why more people don’t opt for customized private tours. Yolo Taiwan does a fantastic job, and they have remarkably talented guides that speak English, and are native from Taiwan. We took the tours to see Taiwan (and it is incredibly beautiful), but it is the personal relationships that we created with our guides that we will remember the most!! Do yourself a favor and book a private tour, and hopefully you will have Vincent or Jackson as your guide!! It will create memories that will last a lifetime!!

  On a 9-night Princess Cruise docking in Keelung port overnight(2 full days), I booked 8 hr private tour(English speaking) for family of 4(parents + daughters ages 18 & 21). Jackson met us promptly if not early at port. He immediately exceeded our expectations by answering any ??s we had such as exchanging usd to nt$, Wi-Fi, charging devices etc…his VW van easily accommodated 4, had a/c and a karaoke mic, which entertained us around the 5th hr of our journey, battling minor traffic to the next site. In 8 hrs Jackson customized our tour, especially making a guided tour FUN for the adult kiddos. We stopped where large tour buses could not to get photo op moments, gave us a “local perspective” on THE BEST cuisine, gifts to bring home, mango shave ice, boba drinks etc…for example, Jackson reserved seating at Din Tai Fung while we explored Taipei 101! COOL to squeeze in so much sightseeing in an 8 hr period. Jackson understood the importance of creating a momentous family experience for us in Taiwan. XIE XIE/MAHALO NUI LOA, Jackson

  If I could have given 10 stars I would have! Jimmy Lin was an outstanding tour guide. He took us to many wonderful sites. An added bonus was that he took our photos at every site and sent them to us at the end of the day. The lunch spot he chose was fabulous and very inexpensive.
