You will move with high performance and well equipped 4x4 car. Driver has more than 15 years of driving experience on bumpy roads of remote areas. We have binoculars, bird guides, emergency equipment on board.

Shiraki Military Airfield
On the road to Vashlovani National Park, we will pass old soviet military airfield, which could receive some of the worlds biggest planes of that time. It seems like time is stopped here. We will drive through the old hangars and runway.
Vashlovani National Park
Vashlovani National Park is Georgia's one of the prominent destinations which is located in Dedoplistskaro municipality and features a semi-arid landscapes and rich biodiversity. Vashlovani is a favorite spot for landscape and wildlife photographers, birdwatchers and just nature lovers. One of the best thing about the park is that it is never crowded even at the peaks of local touristic seasons. During the trip, we will see the most popular parts of the park such as - Echo viewpoint, Pantishara gorge and Samukhi valley. Except fascinating landscape, we will be accompanied by some colourful birds, will spot vultures at their favourite sitting points, Will do little hike and at the end will try to find gazelles - the only antelopes of Georgia. Note: From the starting point of the trip, to the park entrance there is approximately 1,5 hours driving. Even if the park is the main attraction of the tour, the road is also interesting - as it may offer some encounters with wildlife.

5.00It was wonderful to have an experienced guide with such a depth of knowledge in biology, geology, ecosystems and archaeology. Teimo knew exactly where we would find gazelles, insects, reptiles and could explain in detail the evolution of this amazing region. He even knew which structures we would see owls in - and there they were. I learnt a great deal about the birds of this region and because I didn’t bring my own camera with zoom he has offered me photos of the wildlife we saw. He is generous with his time, patient and kind and very practical, giving tips on photography and how to locate certain species of animals. His 4 wheel drive is extremely comfortable and he navigates the tracks so capably. Teimo knows this region like the back of his hand and I believe he is probably the top guide for Vashlovani.
Great experience in one of the most interesting natural park in Georgia.

5.00I was recommended Temo by a friend. I couldn't have been happier with the experience. Temo was very knowledgeable of the area and spoke English very well. It was a 10 hour tour. We learned about fauna, geology, we saw so much beautiful scenery. We even saw gazelles. We stayed at Temo's family guesthouse, which was great. The food, excellent. I'd go there again anytime.

5.00We had such an incredible day with Temo. He was an excellent communicator ahead of time, arranging a box lunch and the permits before we arrived. His car was comfortable and roomy, with water for us. From the abandoned airfield to the hikes up canyons, we felt we fully covered both vashlovani and the surrounding areas. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The binoculars he shared with us were top-notch, enabling us to see birds at a distance with clarity. I would recommend this off-the-beaten-path excursion with Temo for everyone visiting Georgia: a very cool glimpse into a less-well-traveled section of the country.

5.00Temur is an amazing guide. So well informed about everything. He loves the area and puts passion into his work. It is one of the best tours we ever had in our lives. Also his car is great. Very comfortable and clean. He is expert on the Vashlovani and Tusheti area and know everything about flora and fauna of these areas

5.00We had a fantastic two days with Temo in Vashlovani National Park and visiting the Takhti - Tepha mud volcanoes. The landscapes are stunningly beautiful (definitely a highlight of our trip to Georgia) and Temo is very knowledgeable about the area. He knows where birds nest, where snakes hide, can spot tracks of wolves and other animals, and knows many interesting historical sites that he discovered. During the the tours we also did a few hikes, which were perfect for taking photos and spotting more wildlife. Temo does everything with respect to animals and the environment and he is a competent driver, so we were very comfortable in his car. We also stayed in his family's Guesthouse, which has excellent rooms and food. All in all we would highly recommend Temo and his tours!

5.00What an amazing day! The landscape is so incredible, images just cannot capture its beauty. This is big sky country, with wide open grasslands populated by a thriving population of gazelles, and huge cliffs with raptors soaring on the thermals. In deep ravines, forests of pistachio and juniper are home to a multitude of birds, turtles, hares and many more that I didn’t see. To see this place with Temo, who was born here and loves this place, was so special - he knows every track, archaeological site, secret viewpoint and nest in the park. What a special day! (Also loved the abandoned Soviet airfield at Shiraki) Thank you Temo

5.00The day trip was the highlight of our Georgia trip and totally worth it. Temo has a great knowledge of the region and the park. He is responsive to the guests' wishes. I can absolutely recommend the tour. I regret a little that we only booked the day tour and did not spend the night in the park in a two or three day tour.

5.00Great tour with impressive landscapes and animals. Temo is a great guide with a lot of knowledge about nature and culture. We felt very comfortable with him and had a great day. Upon request, Temo adapted the tour so that we could do two longer hikes. Everything was very uncomplicated. The accommodation with Temo's family was also fantastic.
