Our guide was like a walking book! She told us so many funny and interesting things about the Gladiators at the Colosseum. Even though we only had one day, I feel like I learned so much. The service was top-notch from the moment we left the ship.

Our driver knew a fantastic little pizza 'al taglio' spot near the Vatican that wasn't a tourist trap. 🍕 Fast, delicious, and we were back to sightseeing in 20 minutes. The Trevi Fountain was crowded, but the guide helped us get a perfect photo!

A dream day for me and my husband. We had a wonderful private lunch at a quiet spot our driver suggested and strolled through the Roman streets at our own pace. It felt very personal and intimate. The perfect way to celebrate our anniversary during the cruise.

I am still reeling from viewing the Sistine Chapel in person. Words don't give it justice. Gabriella was an art history major, and she was so enthusiastic about Raphael Rooms, that the entire experience felt like a movie. It's been a hard day, but architecture alone is worth the legs pains.

The ride to rome was very comfortable, and our guide Maria was very pleasant company. In Rome, we got to see all the major sights: the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain etc. The guide was very knowledgeable and had a good way of conveying information without making it a boring class. There was a very good mix of info and fun.
