Our guests can enjoy breathtaking views of: Greater and Lesser Flamingos – Large flocks wading gracefully in the shallow waters. Other Birdlife – Pelicans, cormorants, sandpipers, and more migratory birds. Thereafter we will proceed to the Walvis Bay Salt Factory where you aslo find the famous pink lake.At Walvis Bay Pink Lake, see vibrant pink waters, see how salt is harvested in the area. The route then takes you to Pelican Point, a scenic sandspit home to a large Cape fur seal colony. Here, you can observe seals basking in the sun and playful pups in the water while enjoying breathtaking ocean views.

From Pelican Point, the tour continues along the coastline toward Sandwich Harbour, where the towering dunes of the Namib Desert meet the Atlantic Ocean. Depending on the tides, you may drive along the beach or take an inland dune route. Stops include panoramic viewpoints, dune climbing, and wildlife spotting. A delicious picnic-style lunch is served in the dunes before an exhilarating off-road journey back. The tour ends in Walvis Bay in the late afternoon, leaving you with unforgettable memories.

We were recommanded to this tour by the tourism office in Walvis bay and we were not disappointed. From the moment we jumped on the boat the experience was just breath taking. Amazing guides, they provide you anything at anytime (food / drinks / stories) We warmly recommend to do the day tour (ocean safari / sandwich harbour) with this company. Just amazing at every point. Wow, what an excursion! The tour was very well organized, from pick-up to drop-off. Pictures can't really capture the stark beauty of the sand dunes. We were awestruck by the beauty of the water meeting the vast sand dune landscape. Our guide Andries was fantastic. He drove like a pro and gave us a ride over the dunes that we'll never forget! He gave us information about everything we were seeing, plus some unexpected surprises (gemstone sand, iron sand magic and even a gecko - just like in the pictures!) The catered lunch on the sand dunes was amazing, and delicious. And when the road to Pelican Point was flooded, he took us on a drive to see a bit of the town instead. He was great, and we had one of the most wonderful days we've had in a long time! Thank you Andries!
